I watched this video about a year ago. Didn’t drop the leaf until 2 months ago. You never realize how much of a hole you are in until after you stop. Now when folk say they aren’t addicted I look @ how naive they are. I own a medical buyback program I do good for my family. I’m 23, live in San Diego and pay my family rent and bills. But there’s always another level to reach in life. I’ve felt comfortable and therefore stuck. Now I’ve never been more productive in my life, reading 2-3 books a week. Working out daily. Setting time aside for my business work. When I was high everyday all day. I simply did not have the discipline to follow through on my daily goals. Always. Another. Level. To. Reach.
I’ll never understand the addiction to weed and alcohol. I remember being in high school looking around at everyone whom consumed it and thinking this shit is played out. That was 18 years ago. And to this day I have never smoked, or been drunk. When I say that I don’t drink everyone is shocked as if its a big deal. SMH shit is stupid.
When you start smoking it, you don‘t see any issues because it‘s not very harmful in the short term, it is a hell of fun especially in summer, when you are young with friends, being naive. If you then continue to smoke everyday without realizing you’re getting addicted it can make you the laziest fuck on earth
Not gonna lie I struggle sometimes with the thought of having a drink... It's been over 40 days since my last one and I must credit you Marquette for inspiring me to keep this going! You da man brotha! ✊🏿💯

You’re inspiring me to live a total sober life-style. It not only builds character but you can pulverize a lot of negative people’s energy real quick + with more energy comes more creative thoughts which will lead to physical achievements (a good thought can become a good decision and will benefit your whole ‘being’). Much respect for being you and how you grew up and took the right decisions even though you didn’t have it easy when you grew up, thanks for inspiring people to make the right decisions, respect!
It's funny how people call Islam backward and outdated, but yet the advice it gives is spot on even for today's "modern" society. Islam says don't fornicate, do drugs, gamble, deal with interest and most importantly worship anything but the true one that created you and will judge you after death. Timeless advice from the being who created time.
Funny thing and without disrespect, but Christianity says the same. Blessed are all those who recognise these same universal principles that are intertwined in all religious faiths and beliefs.

We just believe anything before Quran was corrupted over time. So although you find the overarching principles. The implementation and proper understanding of the original message has been lost. For example, that Christians say Jesus was God. We as Muslims believe Jesus would never make such a claim.

I was born and raised as a Christian, but I never believed that Jesus is God. There were times when I didn't believe at all, but I was still of the opinion that there is a higher power indeed. Now I came back to my roots, but whenever I pray I pray to the Father in heaven, without any claims that Christianity or this or that is the one true religion. It's just how I perceive Him through my understandings but I still acknowledge His existence and different portrayal in other religions. What matters most to me is, that we share the belief that there is only one God and whoever shares that belief can be my friend no matter what are his or her nationality, ethnicity, race, sexual orientation, preferences and other intricacies of the material realm. I feel you weed and alcohol has more negatives than positives. My philosophy is moderation/balance is the key to life. I may have on a average 1 drink a month and I rarely smoke weed anymore at all because it slows me down too much.
