Michael was, is, and will forever be the greatest basketball player of all time. He was an artist with the ball, an artistry that few have in the modern game (maybe Kyrie has a bit of it?). Inside, outside, defense the total package. Killer instinct, insurmountable will to win. Game on the line, he wanted the ball in his hands and he wasn't giving it up (except once or twice for Kerr and Paxson to get some shine). He changed the way the game was played, how it was marketed, how uniforms were worn (short ass shorts made way to more comfortable baggy knee length ones).
He never once complained about not having enough help, in fact was upset when Krause traded Oakley for Cartwright (which helped make the team better) when it was clear Horace Grant was developing into a solid PF. He never went Title shopping like today's players, he made the Bulls get better and win.
He was a world wide icon who brands from all markets wanted to endorse their products. Nike, McDonald's, Gatorade, Hanes, Upper Deck, Coca-Cola, Chevrolet, Wheaties and 2K Sports. Who else has such a portfolio of brands wanting to pay them? Not Lebron. Not Steph.
WGN from Chicago was one of the "superstations" we had on cable growing up in Florida. In middle school, you HAD to watch the Bulls games or the next day in school you'd feel left out. "Did you see what Mike did last night?" "That man was flying! And then he like twisted and still made that shit" He was MUST SEE tv because you didn't want to miss something incredibly special happening. The body control flying through the air, twisting and turning, then finishing with some acrobatic unbelievable shot. That shit isn't in today's NBA. 7-8 years ago we had a glimpse of it with Steph hitting insane distance 3's...now everyone's doing it. NO ONE was doing what Mike did. NO ONE has since. Kobe tried, but he lacked the leaping ability and the hands. Vince Carter only had the dunks. Nobody has had the total package that MJ had. No one.

Um I don’t think what he said makes him the undisputed goat. A lot of it was true feelings. First of all, Larry bird took a 30 win team to a 60 win team in 1 season and won a championship in 1981. He came into the league in 79. That’s just 2 years. It took Mj 7 years. So other players have done more in shorter period of time than Mj. Being the greatest athlete ever in a team sport is hard. It’s a team game. There are multiple sports that are individual. So to say he’s the greatest athlete ever in a team game is bullshit. Larry bird also had the same criteria for his teammates. Don’t be late, work hard, win every game, and dominate. Many other players did too. As far as other 3 peat, for like the millionth time THATS A TEAM ACCOMPLISHMENT. NOT INDIVIDUAL. Mj wasn’t the only reason he won three straight, retired then won three more. Other players have been more versatile than mj, better overall defense and offensive game, and can do more with less talent. Off the court no one cares. Mj ain’t the goat. He might be the best 2 guard but not the goat.

Michael debate is a joke for attention. The only debate is whether Jordan is the greatest sportsperson in history, simply because he transcends the field of basketball. I remember when Obama awarded him with a medal - he said something like: MJ was so good at what he did, that nowadays when you are super good in something, people say 'He is The Michael Jordan of...'. The reason Micheal Jordan is being forgotten is because of the media. They have to prop up Lebron. Also, if current viewers know what Jordan did, they would see the current league as mediocre. For example
Jordan in 13 years with the Bulls:
    10 scoring titles
    9 all defensive awards
    Defensive player of the year
200+ steals 100+ blocks twice (only player)
Led league in steals 3 seasons
    6-0 finals record
    6 finals mvp
    5 mvp
626 games without losing 3 in a row
Only player to get MVP, All defensive award, Championship, Finals MVP, and scoring title in one season. He did this 4 times.
Leads in all time buzzer beater clutch shots in history
Only player to lead more top 10 lowest scoring supporting casts to titles
Played against 50+win opponents in post season 73% of the time.
All the while having only 1 all star.
    Lebron in 21 years
    1 scoring title
    Most points scored ever
    6 all defensive awards
0 defensive player of the year
    4-6 finals record (losing record)
    4 finals mvp
    4 mvp
    leads in turnovers
2nd leader in most missed layups
2nd leader in most missed shots
Played against 50+ win opponents in post season 53% of the time

Dont you want to mention lebrons 2016 comeback agsinst the greatest megateam ever assembled, the blocks and assists, the one man army carrying a scrap team to the finals for multiple times against the most athletic players and strong teams of this generation. 2016 Cleveland wasn't that bad. You all try to portray that Cavs team as a bunch of scrubs. 3 all stars on that team with a few good defensive players. Mozgov wasn't a bad player either. Lebron wouldn't have that ring if Kyrie didn't clutch it and Green hadn't got kicked out. Even Green admittedly takes the burden for that loss.

You're definitely " On" ....and then some. MJ's impact on the world of basketball cannot be overstated. He transcended the sport and elevated the performance of his teammates like no athlete has done before --- pick your sport, pick your era. He was beautiful to watch; an athletic artisan of the highest order. And he took a struggling footwear company from zero to hero, and in the process made billions. Look: there is NO GOAT debate on who the best baller was... because you need to see past the stats to appreciate the the full gravity of MJ's personal and team achievements in an era stacked with some serious--- and I mean serious ---competition. It's context, not numbers (to my LeBron superfans). To date, MJ has reigned supreme (and was arguably the greatest athlete). His GOAT😢 contenders know it too.

The legacy that you left behind is far too important to be stamped out by a petty feud. Make your Son dump Larsa. That is a garbage move on his behalf, besides, she’s old and used. You deserve some younger, fresher booty, Young Jordan. You can do Much Better, Nephew.

It's already proven that Michael is the GOAT. He has too many awards, championships combined with the records and accolades to prove he's the best:
Have a look at some of the categories for Michael Jordan that he's leading LeBron in (it's just mind-boggling that some fans still believe LeBron is the Greatest of All Time)
Scoring Titles (best avg. pts per game) 10-1 for MJ (ARE YOU KIDDING ME??? THAT'S 9 MORE TIMES THAT HE LED THE LEAGUE - 1 FOR LEBRON)
    Steals Champ 3-0 for MJ
Reg. Season Career PPG 30.1 - 27.1 for MJ
    Playoffs PPG 33.4 - 28.5 for MJ
Reg. Season MVP - 5-4 for MJ
    Finals MVP 6-4 for MJ
    Championships 6-4 for MJ
    Dunk Contest Champ 1987 & 1988 & 2-0 for MJ
Rookie of the Year 1984/85 for MJ
Summer Olympics - 2 Gold Medals for MJ
1987/88 Defensive Player of the Year
I didn't feel like covering every single statistic. These 11 are good enough. MJ completed this in 15 years during his time in the NBA. LeBron has been going at it for 21 years and counting. He's been paying the media to call him the GOAT. That's how desperate he really is. Some are saying he's using PEDs as well. I don't know what LeBron is thinking, how is he the GOAT? If he's not even the best player on his team? The truth will come out.

I think the most damning statistic is that MJ until January 2023 still had more offensive rebounds than Lebron and averages more off.reb per game. And MJ was 2 inches shorter and played guard
Assists and easy defensive boards are the only things Lebron has on Jordan

Micheal Jordan was everything you could ever hope to witness as a Basketball Fan + The Kitchen Sink. Kobe was just as fun to watch, after all he studied the Master (MJ).

MJ never took a play off on either end of the court. He never quit in a series, not once, not even when he was young and faced a completely overpowering Celtic squad, not even when losing multiple times to the multiple time champions, the "Bad Boys" Pistons who would foul him while he was in the air (which lead to rules changes for flagrant fouls).

I like Lebron, but the fact that he voluntarily chose to go somewhere else to have a chance at winning over how Michael handled it has me always favoring Michael. Michael worked himself hard, "asked" those around him to work hard, and helped build something amazing along with others over at Chicago. People forget that working with a system and making it succeed is a skill set in itself (ahem James Harden), and Mike even was great at that. Anything that a person will say Jordan was weak at is only because his other game was so dominant that being better than average looks weak. The best part is Jordan had the drive, the iq and the outright ability to succeed at anything basketball related if he wanted to.
Concerning Michael and how good he was. It wasn't smoke blown up our ass about how good Michael was (I was fortunately to be alive during his playing time), but it was the fact that no matter how mythical Jordan was made out to be he consistently actually upped that level. He played the game like he was an artist like Greg Maddux when he was pitching, but also with a ferocity like Tyson on both sides of the court, had a winners attitude, but also a stubborness and clutchness that myths are written about. I'm sad that people who weren't able to see Jordan play in real time are regulated to occasional highlights and maybe a full game here or there, but each season of Jordan playing was like another seasons 1 of True Detective. Masterpiece after masterpiece.
