I LOVED Inside Out 2. It’s going to be my new comfort film, I think.
Totally cried at least twice, but they were happy tears. Joy giving Riley a hug when she has having a panic attack and she calmed right down, just confirmed everything that I do with my kids. We give hugs when we have big feelings because it helps to regulate both parties 💕

Charlie Bigham’s fish pie and butter chicken are my FABOURITE. I am obsessed. But yes, they are far too expensive, so I get them only as a treat.
Candles with fragrances like that can cause cancer. I' rather avoid them, especially when pregnant or with a baby in the house. Love you, Grack! 💕

I wouldn't worry too much about eating something past date. I used a balsamic vinegar reduction the other day that was 5 years after the expiry date! My husband and I are still alive 😂
Same, if something passes the smell and taste test, we don't throw it out

One time at work, I kept on using milk for my tea that was way past the expiry date. I think when i finished it and it had been 2 weeks old but it still tasted and smelled fine. Quite shocking as milk doesn't have a long fridge life usually 😮

I’ve been looking for those colours for ages in our new house and each time it’s still not the right colour but when I saw those walls they were legit perfect!! 😍 think it’s the living room with third white and then the door colour and the darker colour in the room you did ironing?

I was waiting for all your opinions on Inside Out 2! And we still didn’t get them! Also, how was the afternoon tea?
I like Inside Out 2 but it didn’t come near the first one. But then again the first one is perfection. I loved all the new emotions and how they showed how the teenage brain becomes completely rewired with the demolition.
I loved Inside Out 2, very resonating as I have a niece of Riley’s age…the only thing that let it down (as I’ve heard others say) was the Dad character at the end when his emotions switched off to his anxiety and were like “hey ho, football…!”. I don’t think it sent a very positive message to boys - as in they don’t get to have and process emotions like girls do. Feels like a big faux pas in this era of equality 🙃

You took snacks and drinks to the cinema? Where I live in the USA, we cannot do that. All food or drinks, unless for a baby, has to be bought there.
I love both Inside out movies. But this one hit me harder as someone with mental illness. I really recognised a lot of when I became a teenager. But really started crying once the golden dust came out of Joy at the end of Rileys anxety attack and they say to Joy, she needs you. Anxety as a charachter ill just be helpful I think when I suffer from it in the future
I also found the latest Inside Out movie to be a bit disappointing! I really didn't expect the entire movie to take place at the hockey camp. To me the first movie was just more memorable and interesting, which is a shame since the new emotions really intrigued me going in.

Just an FYI. Artificial fragrance (candles, plug ins, cleaning & beauty products etc) are so bad for our health. Even more detrimental to allergy sufferers and kids. I know you’re addicted to these types of products (most people unfortunately are and aren’t aware of the negative repercussions) so I’d advise you - anyone infact- to consider researching the topic before the baby comes. Then you can start to gradually reduce & replace certain products in your home, if you decide to. It’s an overwhelming process to go through as “Fragrance” is literally EVERYWHERE nowadays & the natural alternatives are usually more expensive… But it’s SO worth investing in for our family’s health. 🫶🏻
