Gracias Frank por esta reaccion a Los Prisioneros, esta es la etapa de su último disco (Corazones Rojos) donde tomaron un estilo New Wave o más electronico inspirado sobre todo en Depeche Mode. En esa epoca su guitarrista Claudio Narea había dejado la banda así que no era lo mismo. Te recomiendo la canción "La voz de los 80" (Estadio Nacional 2001) ruclips.net/video/jAX37OpWMsw/видео.html donde se reunieron con el guitarrista para hacer sus últimos conciertos, ese concierto en el estadio Nacional de Chile es uno de sus mejores registros, hace poco sacaron las canciones de ese concierto en hd y con audio remasterizado en youtube, se que les gustará mucho, tienen canciones mucho más rockeras o con actitud punk. Saludos 🇨🇱 Pd: la banda ya no toca entre otras cosas porque su vocalista, bajista y compositor Jorge González tuvo un accidente cerebro vascular y se retiró de los escenarios.

This song is about two opposite poles: modern urban developed life, on one hand, and country humid grassy greeny farm life of the southern Chile on the other. Back then, poor people travelled by train. And poor people used and still do live in the south, in the Araucania region, where the Mapuche tribe still resist the modern world, as opposed to central Chile, Santiago, the capital. So, the poor=the south, the trains to the farmlands, to the countryside, to the wilderness. The rich= the city, the capital, cars, private traveling in cars as opposed to group travelling by train, concrete floors and skyscrappers. More.. opportunities..
But are the rich, rich, and the poor, poor?
Southern Chile is a majestic place.

This is an anthem of contemporary times since the First Industrial Revolution in England.
