You can shut the pedal assist off by pressing the left button for about a second or two. I ride it without the pedal assist every day. I have had this bike for over a year. It's a great bike. I bought another bike (a different bike) with larger battery because I needed more ride time. I still kept this bike and ride it weekly as I enjoy both.
Hi I tried that it did not work but I know the ancheer version you can turn off pedal assist. is yours a vivi bike? also you can buy the same size batteries on e-bay for under 100 bucks for this bike from china the stock one is only 8Ah they have them in 10, 14 , 16, 20, & 30 you will get more than 3 times the run time with a 30Ah battery over the stock one. It's not allluinium due to the folding joint of being more durable to prevent a snap off or a break. I've seen a few years back of the introduction of the folding bike. Besides, you want a solid base of the weight with e bike speeds over 20mph.
I have the same bike and I'm looking to upgrade the battery to 10 AH but I'm having trouble finding it on Ebay. You wouldn't happen to have a link to it? Thanks Pete.
That rack looks cool. I am keen to get a rack to take heavy paniers and have been warned about ones which connect to the seatpost and the rear wheel stays - the suspension between them could put harmful pressure on the rack. Any ideas what sort of rack could work?
@@davidmarks5282 Hi the rack I got works perfectly..the rear suspension on this don't hardly move like my normal mountain bikes so there is no need to worry about it at all. Also I have more videos of this bike and my other ones on my other channel Fishing with ph & biking.

By the way your link to the bicycle on Amazon is inactive. Also, the battery links. I subscribed. Let me know if you still like the bike and if you have any issues with it. Thanks again.
I like my bike so far still working great, one thing I found that I did not like was the placement of the kickstand for some reason sometimes the back of my shoe would catch on it when pedaling so I took it off and bought a kickstand that bolts on by the crank now it's much better. Thanks for watching I have more videos and other biking videos on my other channel fishing with ph & biking.
you may need to back off the axle nuts a hair to make the bearings run free, brakes you loosen the two allen screws so the whole caliper wiggles around easy and then you hold the front brake on hard and then tighten the bolts up and it should be centered on the disc. last you can unscrew the big caliper screw with a allen wrench that is on the side of the caliper facing the spokes a couple clicks to make the pads further away from the disc but make sure to loosen the small allen screw on the top of it that holds it from turning and when done adjusting tighten it back down so it wont go out of adjustment.
What are your recommendations regarding battery charging when the bike is not in regular use over a few months? I have a timer to charge for 4 hours after a run, but how long should I charge per day when the bike is idle? (The original battery).
Hi you don't have to charge the battery every day Li Ion cells don't self discharge like older Nicad or Nimh type batteries. I put a little charge in my every few months.
Hey. I was wondering how the bike has been working for you this far? Any issues or problems? Also would you say the back rim spokes are strong enough to handle the power of the motor?

Sorry, Steve, I just found your links. I have two questions. I don’t seem to have enough room on the handle bar to put the Meilan odometer unit on. Secondly I want that rear rack, but I don’t have enough space on the seat stem. I had to go as low as possible with my cloud nine seat and there is no more room on the stem. This is strange because I am 5 foot 7 so I’m not short. But for some reason my bike seat has to be on the lowest setting to fit.
Hi you should have plenty room on your bar to put the GPS unit I use the one linked in your other reply it works better than the little M3 one, also you may have your seat to low when you sit on your bike with somebody holding it up or up against the wall when sitting on the seat you put your heel of your foot on the pedal and your leg should be almost perfectly strait no bend hardly at all at the knee so when you ride normal with your foot on the pedal your knees will have a slight bend, Do this with the shoes you ride in. and I think you will be able to use the wrack. Thanks
I wish I could send a couple photos to you. I have been watching your videos with this bike and I just wonder if my assembly person put it together wrong. It seems like you might have more space between the little computer and the center of the handle bar. I don’t know if the factory put that there or if he did. I wasn’t watching that part. Also he installed the fender right underneath the cloud nine seat and that takes up all the rooms on the seat post. Hard to describe, but let me know if I can ever send pictures somehow to you. I appreciate your help and time.

Just bought the 26LGB of the rear shocks with vertical position. There to use mostly for flat bumby terrain. The horizontal one mostly for up and downhill trailing. I got this type of frame to do upgrades and modification to equip another motor to use as a 2000watt Turbo Booster. Nearly finish and link pic soon. No other frame would do for me as I wanted dual shocks for high speeds as single shocks gets too rough on the butt, besides stressing frame and parts of needing to adjust constantly with certain areas like rear discs. Great buy at 569 with 80$ shipping fee and tax it was 700.39$ There we're two other brands of similar frame of dual shocks but it looked flimsy with many bad reviews. They were selling at lower price but knew better to move on.
@@ShenRC I'm just about done with my base modification on the 26LGB model. Just the torque arms on front wheel on both sides and the rear side screen ( ) guards to fit 2nd controller and the main Vivi battery ( rear sides of rear tire). I'm very impressed of this e bike of the build. I have a regular bike ,a Next Power Climber I converted into a DIY, similar frame of your model. However yours and my new 26LGB has superior design from the Next Hard tail bike. The regular dual shocks bike is a 2 piece frame. Ours here is made up of at least 4 separate parts of the frame, wow! If you look closer at your back top bar, look down near sprocket and brakes and believe you will see one of the hinges. The suspension is very much useful due to this.
Hey Shen, glad to have seen your video. Your tips should be very helpful. I've been doing my research for almost a month now about this bike and I guess your feedback will be the final say! Hi I don't have this no longer but I remember if you turn the bike on and put it in the fastest pedal assist mode and then press both the plus and minus keys down for a second or so then the top speed will get faster. Hi it's hard to tell because I know they can all come with different types for some reason. Thanks for watching.
It's not allluinium due to the folding joint of being more durable to prevent a snap off or a break. I've seen a few years back of the introduction of the folding bike. Besides, you want a solid base of the weight with e bike speeds over 20mph.

Thanks for watching I have more videos and other biking videos on my other channel fishing with ph & biking.
BEAUTY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
😁👍
My front wheel is squeaking and does not rotate freely. I will try to relax the axle but how should I adjust the brake pad?
you may need to back off the axle nuts a hair to make the bearings run free, brakes you loosen the two allen screws so the whole caliper wiggles around easy and then you hold the front brake on hard and then tighten the bolts up and it should be centered on the disc. last you can unscrew the big caliper screw with a allen wrench that is on the side of the caliper facing the spokes a couple clicks to make the pads further away from the disc but make sure to loosen the small allen screw on the top of it that holds it from turning and when done adjusting tighten it back down so it wont go out of adjustment.

@@ShenRC Thanx, my friend.
@@ShenRC How's the higher AH battery working out for you?

Hi I am not 100% sure but I am thinking most likely you can.

Hi on e-bay but I think I found a better one now it states it can handle 20Amp constant drain ware as the one I purchased says only 15amps... here is the one I think may be better. www.ebay.com/itm/402759881360?hash=item5dc65c1290:g:5FYAAOSwJidgWEeZ
I got the same bike but how do you get the headlight to turn on lol?

Can you upgrade to a bigger battery?
Hi I looked on e-bay because I got me a higher capacity pack but the pack must not have used good cells in it so it really did not give me much more run time... afterwards I found this one it's a little more capacity than stock but the amp draw rating is higher than 15a like the stock one and the one I purchased so I think this one may use better quality cells in the pack... here it is the one I would try. www.ebay.com/itm/402353449939?_trkparms=aid%3D1110006%26algo%3DHOMESPLICE.SIM%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D233198%26meid%3Dd77e1d0e4b864d7f992c90527dade8a7%26pid%3D101195%26rk%3D2%26rkt%3D12%26sd%3D402712329149%26itm%3D402353449939%26pmt%3D1%26noa%3D0%26pg%3D2047675%26algv%3DSimplAMLv9PairwiseWithPLXWebKnnNlpRecall&_trksid=p2047675.c101195.m1851&amdata=cksum%3A402353449939d77e1d0e4b864d7f992c90527dade8a7%7Cenc%3AAQAGAAABIGOPdX1sQDPwtbbm3w2kp3G59teBI7E4PfgADf%252BH1Twd5yZ8vz6qLdoLoTO3WhBS%252Ff2%252BJWkY10FlN1pUldIMhV8R4B%252F%252FPlOuvUhYVF5kx%252B2zkmvWHb4xWKMyOX%252FRSesA6949MMKMxCLDV5LqoXR29B%252FpHWb02Sx9NnAu4Z5Y32kKNdnIPRsmlVixSDHI9V2AF0d%252BruduxU17VyEKFgT5CBB%252F4b8pSpcaO7PGOM5RyctXX1WxQye51%252B4dIY%252FTJdJeEBr3Ge8c0dSt1%252BBUxwvumprceHvkXsxEBF3ZGFkTb%252FA3hawlHTx%252F6TJhXsXKpJm0wPmb5TShPTumxaven1iSc%252BwF0p8%252F9MaW4%252BD0BJXMqb5VVLpCAznhC6WSV7OS7JqdaA%253D%253D%7Campid%3APL_CLK%7Cclp%3A2047675

How do you turn on The Headlight?

can I put a 48 volt in place of the 36volt

@@ShenRC thanks 👍
How do you fold it - I can't get mine to fold....i loosen the quick release on the hinge, but cant get it to move after that.
Hi you undo the clasp and lift it up and the metal pin lifts as you do this and comes out of the hole in the bikes frame and then you can fold the bike.
@@ShenRC I can’t figure out how to assemble the folding pin. Do you have a tutorial on that? Thanks
@@juliegeorge4555 Hi I don't understand what your trying to explain. you pull out the lever and pull it up to pull out the pin out of the bike frame and the bike can be folded and you hold the lever pulled up and do the opposite to make the frame together again and then fold over the clasp to lock it in place.
@@ShenRC mine didn’t come with it assembled. The lever used to fold the bike that is. I can’t figure out how to attach it to the bike

Hi… I am a relatively new subscriber. I know it’s been over a year since you posted this video. But I just wanted to point out that their description includes “aluminum alloy”, as opposed to just plain aluminum. That would account for any magnetism detected in the frame’s metallic structure… I hope this helps to clear up any misunderstandings.
Hi yes but when I purchased this bike the info on it said aluminum frame but after I complained it was misleading they switched there info on the frame.
Awesome bike Steve, super cool. But I must say this, the best exercise is on a bicycle. But if the bike is electric and helps with your pedaling then your exercise routine just decreased by a lot. LOL Looking forward to the running vid.
Thanks, I did not get it for exercise to much, did you know I did freestyling and quarter pipe bike riding until I was 30 years old and also mountain bike riding in that rough mountain I drive my rock crawlers in I was like a professional on bikes road them like it was walking to me until I was probably 37 years old...why my knees and everything are shot now.. plus all the body building jogging and all sorts of crazy crap I did... I pushed myself hard and did everything to the limit and did to much now I can hardly do anything these days from over doing it my whole body's messed up and broken down and worn out or injured.
@@ShenRC : That's awesome man, im in my 30s and I still ride bicycles Mountain, road and bmx. Usually on my road bike I try to do 10 miles a night( that's the only time I have to ride since I'm busy all day) same thing with my Mountain bike. It's a great exercise experience I really enjoy riding. And actually bicycles is a second hobby that I enjoy most, Rc is 1#.
You don't go crazy..I used to ride my mountain bike 6 miles to get to the mountain and ride in that rough rocky crap for another 13 miles and drive 6 miles back home... none of my buddies would come to drive in the mountain it was to extreme and rocky they could not take it! LOL!!
@@ShenRC : I do go insane actually when I have time. I love long runs, typically 150 miles is what I do when I spare plenty of time. Usually in one day doing that amount of miles it sure is a great exercise. That is done in my road bike.
My mountain bike, I just love trailing don't know how much miles I input but I've spend hours on mountain trails with my buddies who enjoy the sport as well.
I just do everything extreme that was my problem. I could have actually been a body builder also I used to lift for 3 hours a day some times also never missed a day of lifting even lifted on Christmas, I did crazy stuff on my bike like the guy's on TV I even road my mountain bike in the 90's right after that big hurricane we had back then here all the mountain was like a brook I actually was riding in flooded areas up to my top bar on my bike frame I was stupid why I can barely even ride a bike right now. If you only knew how many cranks I snapped or bent, frames I cracked wheels that bent necks that snapped off on my bikes! vanders cherry pickers table tops 360 tail whips bunny hopping garbage cans qurter pipe riding drop ins and a load more of frestyling stunts and big ramp jumping put a big ass whooping on ya for sure! I sure loved the adrenalin rush but sure wish I never done it now! LOL!!

Help please what does the stem bolt screw in to because there's for mine to screw in to please help me
I just bought it im disabled and im having so much trouble putting it together
Hi the screw in the center of the stem you tighten it up after you set the height and make sure the handlebars are straight with the front wheel, tighten it up and it will hold the position you set. Hope this helps.
My new scooter is out for delivery
COOL!! have to see that sucker go!
My daughter just got this bike and I put it together for her but i must have done something wrong cause it doesn't move when I use the throttle, can you please help me, im a chick, I've looked online but nothing is helpful
Hi I am assuming when she pedals the bike motor powers up? I would check the connecting plug on the twist throttle like 8 inches away it should plug into another plug connector. also you may want to unscrew the black box cover that's on the frame there is 4 screws and look inside to see if all the connectors are together on the controller unit.. Hope this helps.
@@ShenRC ty so much i will do that ty
Wow nice bike bro !
Thanks ✌️
Can this bike handle jumps on a dirt track?
I am not sure, I would think you would want a true mountain bike for that and would probably need to spend the same amount that this e-bike was on a normal non electric bike if you want something to beat on and jump and stuff.
@@ShenRC ah I wish it could handle jumps, you'd think with front shock absorbers it'd be all that's needed given that a bmx has no suspension and are often seen in the air!
@@requena79 Hi I am not saying you can't jump with it but it's so heavy it's not a good bike for trying to jump, it's like 65lbs, I used to ride bmx and do freestyling until I was like 30+ years old and then mountain biking.. my bikes were light you could lift them up easy by doing a bunny hop movement and jump over garbage cans and they were easy to maneuver because of there light weight this e-bike feels like a lead weight not good for any type of jumping or stunt driving.

It sounds like your saying you cant just use the motor unless you unplug a cable
Hi you can just use the motor with the throttle grip on the handle bar all the time but if you peddle that will activate the motor also... so if you want only throttle from the bike grip just unplug the peddle sensor and you will make the motor come on when you use the throttle grip. You can turn the motor off by pressing the minus button when it is on low pedal assist mode and it turns it off. You don’t have to unplug it.
