  • Bidean nam Bian is the munro i am climbing aka Lost Valley. Bidean nam Bian is a beginner friendly Munro and is an easy Munro for beginners. Lost Valley or Bidean nam Bian, Stob Coire Sgreamhach hillwalking route.
    Hillwalking up Bidean nam Bian & Stob Coire Sgreamhach in Scotland is fun, hill walking in the Scottish highlands up Scotland's easiest mountain / munro.
    The Lost Valley is the best starter munro for bagging munros. I am starting to camp and use tents in the future and do wild camping.
    Wild camping in tents and making fires while bagging munros
    This mountain had small rock climbing / scrambling points at the top. Hillwalking in scotland is a good adventure.
    This munro is suitable for dogs, hillwalking with dogs.
    This is a good one for bagging the munros, munro bagging

    Hi guys, thanks for posting this great video. The little map inserts were great IMHO and it was great to have names of the tops in the audio. Very well done.

    Torridon is even more spectacular imo.. I used to think glencoe was the be all, but there are places just as good, if not better… give them a look 👍🏻

    Hi.Really enjoying your videos. The scenery is wonderful, terrific filming. Your description of the route and paths to take etc is very helpful. For me, only one thing would improve your content and that would be right at the start of your video if you could make it clearer exactly where you start from. A clear picture showing where you parked would help a lot.

      Thanks Ian i appreciate those comments, and thanks for the constructive criticism, i am always looking to improve so these sort of comments really help me, what exactly do you think would make it easier to show where i have parked, i do put a start / finish bit on the google maps, what do you think i could do to make it clearer? Thanks again for the kind words :)

    • @iainc.6
      @iainc.6 2 года назад +2

      I suppose what I am looking for is exactly where to stop in the car and then how to get onto the initial part of the walk. The Google map helps but directions over the last mile or two to the parking area would be helpful. eg 'the car park is 500metres after a sign on your R for..', and maybe a panorama view/picture of this place? Your descriptions on route with the videos are really excellent and ,for me, a little more at the beginning would make these the 'go to ' videos.

      @@iainc.6 okay thanks for the feedback Iain! I think i have a good idea of what i am going to do for the next videos i make, i already have 3 finished videos in the pipeline so it will be after then where i can start implementing this extra information! Thanks again

    Not sure if you mentioned it, but I think Bidean nam Bian is the highest mountain in Argyll. I always used Cameron McNeish's Munro book. Although some climbs that he called a 'walk' were for me personally, a wee bit more challenging. Looking forward to you bagging Buachaille Etive Mor now.
