- The 1st in a series of videos I will post as I repurpose my faithful little Postie Bike into a inner-city commuter. I laboured for some time deciding on a colour scheme and settled on satin silver and black. Follow my progress as I go.

Great job and very close to the colour I have picked for my next Postie bike project. A Silvery grey by Ford, code SL. I binned a motor case because it had a helicoil insert in the oil drain plug. It was leaking oil badly so I bought a motor that was missing the head and cylinder to use the case. I also bought a brand new Honda wiring harness to eliminate any problems caused by the previous owner who hacked the harness with numerous joins. Good luck with the build.
Thanks, Robert. Can't say my paint job is anywhere near good, however it is only a postie and they're meant to have a bit of character ;-) Thanks for the feedback on your use of a helicoil on the sump plug. I may just use an oil resistant sealant. It worked perfectly for the final 5,000 kms of my ride...so why not? It's just a bit of a challenge at oil changes.
All the best with the build Gav, never seen a silver postie before so I'm looking forward to seeing how it turns out.
Thanks, mate. I'm keen to see it finished too. Hopefully I manage to put all the nuts and bolts in the right places 🤞
Nice job.
Thanks mate 👍
