This randomly reminded me of the M4 reload animation from ‘blacksite area 51’. The character holds the gun on the left hand side of the screen to change mags and it was always really weird 😂
Holy moly man. I haven't thought of that game in a while. Trip down the memory lane.
Say what you want the M16A3 with a heatshield and m203 nade launcher is iconic
Scarface
M16A2/M203 is better imo.
First mission in Black Ops 1 for me.
Sandstorm imo has the best sounding, especially when it comes to hitting the bolt release, you can hear the buffer spring going forward.
Sandstorm had great sound in general
COD cold war was close too, the rest mostly sucked
I personally thought it was all right
Respect to game that have full auto M16's in multiplayer instead of 3-round burst
To be fair, the only models of the M16 that were full auto were the A1 and A3, the A2 and A4 were designed in 3-round burst, with the exception that some models of the A4 by FN had 3-round burst and full auto. In Black Ops 1 they should have had it in full auto in MP just like it was in the Campaign. I think every other game did okay though. That burst is under-rated tho, you still get high rates of fire and more accurately at that. The only game that did the bursts perfectly was Insurgency, Battlefield 4, and the OG Modern Warfares, I feel like.
@@blookeeng8549 understood but full auto tho
It's always jarring to see the Black Ops games having the M16 be full auto in the campaign.
I guess the devs thought having burst weapons in the campaign is kinda pointless when weapon damage is not really a factor in campaigns.
@@blookeeng8549 The original M16 was also capable of automatic fire, so the majority of M16 models are. In reality, burst fire was implemented terribly: the ratchet wheel doesn't guarantee three rounds, the trigger pull weight is inconsistent because of the ratchet pawl, modifying it to enable automatic fire is simple as cutting the burst sear, et cetera
@@blookeeng8549 the C7A2 is an M-16A4 that has the capability of being full auto
Wow this “real life” game has some insane graphics
But too bad it has a bad reload animation
@@fnm249sawtoo me when no tacticool reloads😢😢
Don't be fooled my friend It also comes with taxes death and worst of all skibiddy toilet
Real life was unexpected
You're right, I almost forgot about that game. But the graphics really didn't age well, looks not realistic at all
MW2 M16 had more steel mechanic sound than the M4
You had me with the real life footage xDDD
А я поверил что в мв 2 ремастер такая графика 🥲
Yes. @@Mirtasy
Vnmese national guard sometimes have this rifle in service , specifically the M16A1
During operating procedures everyone just didn't knew the existence of the bolt release , even the instructor , i just did it they considered me a wizard
Wait you can chamber it by pulling the charging handle after putting in a fresh mag ?
@@duonglethai8701 you don't know this ? Obviously yes
@@duonglethai8701
Yes. When you pull the charging handle back, and pull the bolt face back off of the bolt stop, the spring for the bolt stop pushes it back down into the normal position. Let go of the charging handle, and the bolt now has nothing blocking it from feeding and chambering the next round.
It's the same thing as the slide stop on a pistol. You can just pull the slide back and the slide stop will be pushed back down out of the way by the spring. Let go of the slide, and it will feed and chamber the next round.
„Real Life“ is still in Alpha
One thing that irks me is when any of them are pulling the cocking handle back to release the bolt, you can always hear the bolt sliding back.
It's not pulling the bolt back, the bolt is already locked back, you're just gliding the cocking handle through the upper receiver.
the charging handle still grates on the inside as it slides back tho, so as long as the sound is sufficiently low-mass sounding, it's still reasonable. definitely still creates a scratchy noise unless it's still got some kinda lube on it.
the aspect of that sort of reload that annoys me is more the consistency of pulling it back - since there's no resistance to it, releasing the bolt by pulling the charging handle back until it engages the bolt is awkward-feeling due to the sudden onset of resistance after moving freely for several inches, while most animations make it appear very smooth and lacking that immediate transition from zero to forceful.
@@Daishi0861 I have a feeling this is done for dramatic effect, but still bugs me
Real life confirmed game, we live in a simulation :D
Why does bf3 look so good
Frostbite
Nostalgia
M16 reload from COD Cold War more satisfying
Love the IRL at the end.
In the world of Insurgency sandstorm, all reloads are 0.75x faster.
What are you talking about
That's a joke, insurgency sandstorm reloads feel slow compared to other games.
0:59 "Say hello to my little friend"
Yes
Insurgency Sandstorm on top
this is my fav gun in games
Thanks for the support glad you enjoyed
I think the Far Cry 1 "M4A1" is a CAR-15, specifically the Model 727
To be fair it is a missed opportunity you didn't add many AR15s (as the title mentions), since plenty of the games featured have them
Do you plan on expanding on this video or no?
The AR15 part was more to over generalize the weapon in the tital as a lot of games don't use the actual names of guns or they were extremely similar examples is the tarkov clip is actually a colt M4 but yes I hope to expand this and some of the other guns in different games videos as well in The future
Didnt know Real Life was a game 💀
Yes and it sucks
ngl, these video is just a perfect asmr
I'm always confused as to if these types of channels are Gaming or ASMR
@@TheInfiniteMag dunno, and I can't pick for you guys either
so confusing
W vid bro!
Quick questions do you take requests for vids like these?
Not particularly but if someone has a good idea I might do it
If you do let me know
@@TheInfiniteMag kriss vector in different games
@@RedAppleJuiceSB I've thought about doing the vector before so yeah I'll do it
thanks for the suggestion
@@TheInfiniteMag your welcome bro!
The Cold War reload feels special for some reason
I would rather pull the handle to load the AR15 than slap the button. Cuz pulling the handle feels right to me.
Yes
very nice!
Glad you enjoyed
@@TheInfiniteMag *augh*, good job, bro!
yo that last "real life" game was really cool, is it on steam??
No not steam it just is
And it's vary realistic it's even got taxes
And when you die you die
@@TheInfiniteMag no way! I gotta try it
@@thenaut2111 u should it's sooo fun
No don't its suck there are too many glitches and bugs also you can't respawn
Bad game 4/10 !!!1!!!1!!!!
@@minicaco4973 yeah the people who keep exploiting the infinite money glitch get to play forever and make us pay taxes
I always thought slapping bolt catch release looks cool so when I got my ar15 I wanted to try it. I've stopped doing that after dropping full mag for tenth time
IMO slapping the bolt release after is easiest and fastest for me.
Battlefield 4 will always have my favorite M16
I thought about adding it but didn't and I'm pretty sure it's the same animation as bf3
@TheInfiniteMag it is nearly identical in animation, the main reason I like it more than the BF3 one is just because the model and sounds are nicer imo
I’m confused about how in the whole wide world insurgency sandstorm is so CALM BRUH
You play as an untrained middle eastern guy that was drafted into some random war.
The far cry 1 animation was better than 2042’s animation
Yeah totally
I can't help but feel the side slap to the AR is just the user being envious of the MP5 or just artificially trying to implement it in to their reload.
Don't see why, the bolt hold open release geniunely speeds up the reload process.
Around the time many of these games were made, a lot of shooting courses taught to slap the bolt release as a way of ensuring you got enough force in to let the bolt go. And it did feel cool, lol.
Nowadays, they teach you to use your thumb as you finish sliding the magazine in. More effecient, less movement and ever so slightly quicker.
H&K slap is cool, but not super fast or effecient compared to guns with a last round bolt hold open device.
Damn the last game is so realistic!
Quite 😂😂🤣🤣👍👍😭😭📝📝

I wasn’t aware that Far Cry 5 had the M-16 as a weapon option. Where in the hell do I get/find it??
Classical MW2 is most marvelous for all times
Where can I get this "real life" game
Nice channel
Thanks for the support bro
Insurgency had more ways to reload the M16.
MW 2019,2022 had the same reload animation.
Wish BF Hardline was in this list. (Note the one on BFH had the M16A4 which that fired in Fully)
But hey Insurgency reload all the way. Next to Cold War.
The m4 in Cold War has 20 round magazines yet it hold 30
Yeah that kinda bothers me too
You forgot IGI game bro
You should’ve included the dm7 from bf2042 too. It is an ar15
How much does real life cost? And when did it come out i never heard of it. Or is it still in development or something
It's not coming out it just is it is what is it is
1:01 what blueprint is that?
Some of these really annoy me like how are you gonna rack the bolt back to the rear when you already shot off all your rounds. What’s the point of even having a bolt catch if you’re not going to use it? It’s not an AK
Where in the Blue Hell is Delta Force Black Hawk Down?
I never heard of scum???
There's two ways of looking at it
A dayZ rip off or the game that could a done 1000 times better if given the budget but never made it
Black Ops Cold War is my favorite.
also my favorite gun in cod mobile
How come I can't find 'Real Life' on Steam?
It's not on steam it just is on is
I know nothing about fire arms. But why in some games it pulls back and in other just smashes a button?
I know that in empty weapons the "pull" is to load a ridge into the chamber, and the "button" is the lock for the magazine so it does not fall.
So, why in these rifles (and some others), they pull or "smash" even when the weapon is totally empty? Like, if the rifle is empty wouldn't you always have to "pull"?
Pulling the charging handle is more reliable, but pressing the bolt release is faster, so the operator must choose which he values more. Keep in mind that some of the game animations are incorrect
@@TheSundayShooter thanks for clearing it. I know many games are very inaccurate but I have noticed this too in many other places like movies (which can be very unaccurate too) but also in youtube channels about testing and showing guns and other firearms
The button you're referring to is the bolt release. The magazine is already locked in automatically on insertion via a spring loaded tab that slots into an opening on the magazine body (The button to depress this spring is on the other side of the gun, which is why you don't see anything happen before the empty magazine drops). Anyway, the bolt is automatically caught in a rearward position by the bolt release once the magazine is empty. Pressing it lets the bolt slide forward from the back of the gun to chamber a round.
The charging handle is typically only really used to chamber a round for the first time, before the gun has been fired, or to pull back the bolt to clear malfunctions. You can pull the charging handle back when the bolt is locked back, but it is sliding freely in the inside of the gun until it finally contacts the top of the bolt. That last bit of pull will pull the bolt back a little further, allowing the spring loaded bolt release to return to its regular position, letting the bolt slide forward unobstructed.
Most older games don't have all the animation variations that new games do. If something is incorrect now, it's because the developers are unfamiliar with the gun.
Counter-strike is a good example of both. Until CSGO, the charging handle of the M4 was mistakenly thought to be the forward assist, which was also pulled every time the gun reloads, because there was only 1 reload animation.
Since CSGO, your character only pulls the charging handle when the gun is first purchased in spawn, because the bolt is stored/resting in the forward position and must be pulled back to chamber a round for the first time. From then on, the animation will either be a bolt release reload if reloading from empty, or a magazine change without any button press if reloading with ammo left in a magazine (aka 1 still in the chamber).
Hope I understood your original comment and that made sense!
where's Squad?
I don't know this game "real life". What is it?
Oh it's this amazy game where you have to eat food take a shit and pay taxes
And best of all there's sex I usually use the sex abilitys with people's mother anytime I'm arguing with them online
Pulling the charging handle back on empty reload is just not right 😂. Hitting the bolt release is better
Yeah, say that to the people who don't know what bolt release is.
12.12.30 tarkov is incredibly old clip
It was a year ago
Инсердженси как обычно всегда выигрывает
I'd agree for sound design but not for animation in my opinion of course
Damn BF3’s was perfection. BF2042’s just look like shit.
Skipped Battlefield 4 😢
Why is bf3 and bad company 2 so much better than 2042 lol
Becuaze bf3 was the beginning of the fall from grace and bf2042 is the latest game in well after the fall in the pit.
i forgot how terrible the reloads were in 2042
The graphics in the real life game need work
Yes every time I have intercourse with someone's mother I wonder how good she would look with RTX on
Love the immediate downgrade from Battlefield 3 to 2042 😂
mw19 isnt an m16
Most of the animations are not accurate to real life, and most of these games are multimillion dollar games
The models aren't always accurate but the animation is just mag out mag in bolt release
The animation quality of BF2042 is the worst. Especially the weapons of BF3 are so unnatural AK74U
2042 sounds like plastic
MW19 wins
the one in Battlefield 2042 looks so bad for a Battlefield game. the one in Battlefield: Bad Company 2 will always be my favorite from the franchise.
Bro the BC2 one is so gankk BC2 might be better gameplay wise I'll agree there but let's be honest for 5 seconds and not let nostalgia blind us
even the sounds from 2042 are shit
FUN FACT: THE AR-15 WAS NEVER USED IN COMBAT. IT WAS ADAPTED FOR HOME DEFENSE AND SPORT.
Not true. Eugene Stoner developed the AR-10 in .308 for Armalite first but when the Army was looking at adopting the design they wanted it in a smaller caliber so Jim Sullivan down scaled the AR-10 in size and made it smaller and chambered in 5.56 and it was dubbed the AR-15 and submitted it for testing. The Army tested and prototyped the weapon and because the Army wasn't satisfied with it and with financial troubles Armalite sold the design to Colt and continued testing with Colt as the manufacturer.
In 1963 the Army was approved 85,000 XM16E1's, so all the way from 1957 to 1963 it was known as, sold, and marketed to militaries and civilians as the AR-15 until it was formally adopted and changed to M16. It was absolutely used in combat when it was being tested before adoption, not to mention the AR-15's that got sent to Ukraine, and I don't exactly know what you mean by adapted for home defense and sport because aside from the giggle switch it functions the same and shoots the same ammo
FUN FACT: AR-15 VARIANTS INCLUDE THE M16/M4/Mk18 SERIES GUNS. THE FIRST M16s USED IN COMBAT WERE MARKED AR-15
extremely loud incorrect buzzer
false. the AR15 platform has killed more people than any other firearm in combat short of the Kalashnikov family of weapons
Going from Battlefield 3 to Battlefield 2042, god what a downgrade, the gun models looks awful, the animation is awful and the sound design, why just why
Where can I get this "real life" game
go to the gun store and buy one??
