I am 81 and have been scrapbooking and then cardmaking for 50 years. Finally I have found my style! You are it! I love every single card you make. Your layering is the best, and I love watching you work. Thank you for what you do and how you do it. You have a special gift.
Kristie, This colection is just adorable... I think it’s a must have!!! Your cards are great as usual. TFS I hope you are all recovered after your eye surgery!
Thank you so much! It really is a cute collection. 😊 I am all recovered from my surgery. Still adjusting medications since the pressure has dropped significantly. (Which is a good thing!)
Hi Kristie, I want to thank you for introducing me to Lizzie's peel off stickers. They add a nice touch to the cards. Just started watching you, mid last year. I Like all the cards in this video. Hard to choose a favorite one. Thanks
I understand completely to be attached to something that works for you. 😁 Like your scissors. I did something similar with my tool n one roller from spellbinders. Use baking soda with super glue to shape the missing gap (on a silicone mat). Then just sand away any roughness when you acquire the right shape. It works like a charm and it's super durable. Keep up the good work! I have to confess i play your videos on a loop when I am crafting. They are relaxing and useful.
Yay! 🤗Doodlebug....I love when you use their paper pads🤗 I think your scissors were magic because you always cut a perfect fishtail with them. It has been my belief that it was not just your talent but your scissors too! I’m still struggling to cut a perfect fishtail!...or even a decent one.
I'm so sorry your Magical Pink Scissors broke! One of my original pairs of scissors recently cracked and my husband used some some super glue and stuck them back together and--so far, so good... I wish I'd been able to tell you about the super glue and how well it closed up the crack in my scissors. They were sort of run-of-the-mill work scissors, for all tasks and not for fine work, but they were good for that, as well. There is nothing like a good pair of scissors, or knives, or any other cutting tool. I gained an appreciation for such things from my father and my mother made it clear that I wasn't to cut anything with her sewing scissors! I've followed their lead and have the same philosophy and a strong appreciation for all of my scissors. When you find just the right pair of scissors, it's almost a tragedy if/when they break. It's like losing one's best friend...
I gasped when your scissors broke. 🤭 Love all your posts. Have bought all Love from Lizi pin stripe peel offs in every color that I could get my hands on. Thank you!
I understand completely I loved my little yellow scissors and used them all the time ... then we got puppies and they somehow got hold of them and chewed them up... 18 months ago - I’m still trying to find a replacement Glad to see your process videos are up and running - I really look forward to seeing them
Did you feel "off" after that happened? I understand. They feel just right in your hand, like special made for you! The show must go on! Love the cards! Well done. Of course! TYFS! 💖💖💖🌹🤓
I did, and still feel off. After the scissors broke, I had to walk away from crafting for a bit. The first scissors I could find, with the orange handle, were terrible. I had to go shopping for a new pair. The new pair is okay and should at least get the job done. 🙂
We also have a pair of magical pink scissors - they are easy to find in our yellow, aqua, and white craft room. We have been talking about getting an identical pair, so we already have them on hand when ours need replaced. 😁
Kristie, I would love to see a video of how you actually break down the paper pad as you go. For example, you pick out your sketches and then get to work but how do you actually cut each piece of pattern paper to get the most out of one sheet. Just a thought!
I don’t really plan how I’ll cut each piece of paper. It just depends on which sketches I choose. Sometimes I even mis-cut the pattern paper. I just modify the card design to make it work. 🙂
On MFT Sketch 340, you used some small teal dots (3 in the upper right hand corner). Would you please tell me where you got those - company, website, etc.? I sure would appreciate it. They look great!
Hi Jan! The mini circle stickers are Peel Offs made by Love From Lizi. They are awesome! There are lots of different colors and styles available. I have a link provided in the description box where you can purchase them. Love From Lizi is based in UK.
Great job! Super cute cards! I’m very sorry about your scissors, hope you’ll be able to find a suitable replacement. It’s always hard when a great craft tool breaks! Crafty hugs 🤗 teri
I absolutely love your cards,as I shake quite bad I still enjoy having a go. What are the pencils called you use for shading thank you . Carol from England.
Love your videos and would like to know where you get the layout ideas for your cards. I noticed the name MOJO and Sentiment. Where can I purchase these types of items?
Love your videos you make it seem so easy. Which it’s not of course. I am just beginning. Can you tell me why you use more than one piece of stock card to put your designs on please? Many thanks ❤
You wicked woman...super cute, AS ALWAYS Doodlebug. BTW, it is NOT silly to be attached to a pair of scissors. Do we ever make a card where we don't have to cut something?? I have a little pair I use for everything (except ribbon), I have had them for years and felt they were going blunt so bought a new pair, but they're just not the same so am still using the original pair...lol
Heehee. 😂 I told you I would still be buying Doodlebug paper pads. 😉 I’m glad I’m not the only one that gets attached to crafty tools. My hubby said he will try to fix them, but it hasn’t happened yet. Can you sharpen your pair of scissors?
Years ago my dad fixed my broken scissors. They are not pretty but get the job done. The scissors mean the world to me now as my dad is no longer with us.

I don’t think it’s silly to be attached to a good pair of scissors. To crafters they are our lifeline. It’s like having a favorite tweezer to use on our eyebrows.
Agreed! A good pair of scissors could last years, and i have craft supplies ive had since i was a teen. Its not just any old supply - but like fine bakeware! My "fussycut" scissors i LOVE & would cry if i lost them
That’s a fun idea for your scraps! I hope your daughter got to vote.😉💙💙💙
Yes, I asked my daughter about my scrap idea first. I told her she can have a full paper pad from my stash. 😂💖

For the scissors ask your hubby to hot soldering it back and cover to all metals. no more rubber so this maybe longer lasting
Thanks for the advice. I’m not sure what his plans are yet.

Did Love from Lizi have their peel off sale this year like they normally do?
The last Love From Lizi peel offs sale was over Black Friday weekend. It’ll probably be awhile before the next one.

Ok..does she have a way to let fans know, email or website.
