- Melba Moore is a legend and force to be reckoned with! She is a Tony award winning 3-time Grammy nominated actress who has done it all from stage, television and big screen. Melba discusses her reaction to the #kattwilliams interview and her appreciation for his contribution to her star on the Hollywood walk of fame. Melba talks about how she was brought into the music business by her dear friend Valerie Simpson. We discuss her Broadway debut in the musical Hair, all the way to her winning a Tony award for the Broadway musical Purlie Victorious.
Melba talks about being a solo artist ,her variety show with then Love Clifton Davis and Even having her own Sitcom entitled Melba! She speaks on how Dj Dnice reintroduced her music to new audiences on club quarantine.
In this Interview she talks what it was like to work with Beyonce and how she became a Christian and gave her life to the Lord. This is an amazing interview filled with nuggets from some one that has Lived!!! My favorite line is that " Good management is the Twin brother and sister of talent, they really work together.

If I'm not mistaken, Melba's career was derailed by her ex-husband who literally stole all her money and left her destitute. She is a beautiful woman with so much talent and had a thriving career. I think she had a young child at that time and it took a toll on her physically and emotionally. Thank God he has restored her and I hope every thing that was stolen from her she will recover.

Melba Moore is an ICON. Newark NJ to FAME. She has performed with Carol Burnett, Bea Arthur( from Golden Girls-Maude), etc movie like Cotton Comes to Harlem, Fighting Temptation and a Soul/Disco Queen. Give her her flowers NOW. I love this lady. Pick me up I’ll dance and You stepped into my life are my jams but nothing tops her holding those long notes like on my jam Lean on me and Long and winding road. I remember seeing Ms.Moore back in the 90's when the black family reunion was held on the national mall in DC. She sang the black national anthem, that star was long over due. Ms.Moore is a legend.
I love Melba Moore. She is so down to earth and humble. And Kudos to Katt Williams for his significant contribution in seeing that Ms. Moore received her star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, as it is so well deserves for her remarkable contributions to the arts. ⭐⭐⭐

Melba was always fine, (good looking to me) natural hair,and all plus talented.
I agree that's definitely where Katt was wrong.
I don't think Katt was giving his personal opinion, but highlighting the racially ambiguous commercial image being pushed in music during the 80's for black artists.
