"Those Runs" yep, that's Vocal Queen Wendy 😏💯 The Red album is full of vocal slayage, I still think it's undefeated in terms of vocal prowess, could also be due to it being a full album as well, the girls really went off in this album, Wendy especially phew😩

Happy to see you picking up on their incredible harmonies, which are second to none in Kpop. RV's sound is rooted in late 80s, early 90s R&B, but they have a fiercely experimental side as well. They continually get praised by music critics around the world for never playing it safe and always pushing the boundaries of the genre. A couple of personal favorites are 2019s "Psycho" and 2022s "Feel My Rhythm." Both were massive successes for the group both internationally and in Korea itself. Thanks for reacting to this. I actually thought the song was a hot mess when I first heard it. Now it's one of my "can't live wirhout" favorites from them.

I'm so glad that you enjoyed their 'Red' side too!! There are also some title tracks where the genre distinction between 'Red' and 'Velvet' is not clear! It's like a combination of two concepts, so we sometimes call it 'Red + Velvet' concept. ex) Feel My Rhythm, Russian Roulette, Zimzalabim + I strongly recommend 'Psycho', 'Feel My Rhythm'. The harmonies and vocals in there are just so rich and amazing. And you can get some elegance/classic vibes in those songs!

After all these years Dumb Dumb is still my favorite title track from Red Velvet. The song just goes so hard. Great song to pump you up. You think they killed this choreo? You should watch them dance to it at 2 times the speed There's a saying about Red Velvet and it's that there's no time to get bored with them. Every comeback is different. And yes their vocals especially Wendys is on a different level.
