- Our friend Nick Nelson (official badass) brought over his 900 hp all wheel drive trophy truck and threw down out in the back of the shop! Not only is he a pro driver but he built this truck from the ground up and is an incredible fabricator/builder.

I know this vlog is 2yrs old at this point but guys like Nick Nelson are extremely impressive to me, to be able to build and drive vehicles like that is no F_ing joke and it's badass!

Man.. Nick and the team you guys did a fantastic job this is what I call a work of art. You guys took a sketch, talked it all over, figured finances, got the parts, used your guys amazing skill to fabricate and build this monster into a realty man and got to drive it. This truck is pure engineering/ingenuity badass. Insane build. Never knew what actually went into these things to make them what they are. This is looks and sounds like adrenaline on wheels. Awesome content as always.

This is amazing! This handles like my Losi SBR 2.0! Up until now I had no idea that the Losi SBR 2.0, Traxxas UDR and Arrma Mojave were based on real trucks. I'm shocked.

Check out Dust to Glory, it's a documentary about the 2004 Baja 1000, and it's incredible. One of the guys in it Iron Man's the whole race on a dirt bike.

It is a beast and totally wicked. Shawn the look on your face said I should have thought about this ride a little more or sh#t stop I want to get out, like man here we go and I shouldn't have😂. Scared and I need new clothes cause we went and now I'm soiled😂. That truck is radical. I hope who ever gets it can drive really well cause it looks like it will rollover. They want care they'll just fix it and keep playing in that big old sand box.👍😎

@@AutotopiaLA the way they seem so top heavy and tilt so far on their suspension on tarmac and also soak up the bumps with no rebound really amazes me. I used to be more of a fan of the Australian V8 Supercars but saw a video of stadium super trucks on RUclips and their crazy jumps and have become a fan of this type of racing.
This thing needs to be mass produced!! For sure you wouldn’t need the fwy to get to west L.A from the Valley. Just make your own road.😁

1.8 miles/ gallon of 110 VP Race fuel at ....$15/gallon..a 54 gallon drum is $650..do the math..at 500 or 1000 miles...plus pre running, fuel, the 100K Patton Motor.. and you HAVE to have an extra or 2 or 3 or 4(Herbst) my old shop (FoutzFMI) we had a 7 Open(Derrick) that had an 80K V6 Roush Motor on top of the Pattons.as they bought Herbsts first Trophy Truck and semi..you have to have crazy money
That’s why he hasn’t had much opportunity to race it as he’s had very little sponsor help. Too bad cause it’s a mean truck and he can drive it

That truck is amazing. I think it's just what you need if you live in the city for the pot holes, lol.
But not to be a wise guy, but what you have to remember that the guy with his muscle car getting 8s mpg isn't beating on it for 200 miles straight. If he wore it would be a lot worse. As for the trophy truck 1.8 is not even all that bad I was expecting worse.

I’m not an off road guy so don’t really have the answer. Hit up Nick. His info is in the description and he’ll gladly answer your questions. He told us prior to this build there were typically issues with reliability

Can you not get stuff from Pro4 trucks? I don’t know a lot about the specifics of these? JW why the 4x4 was a problem if pro4 has been a class for long time? But I guess Desert trucks different from on a prepared track?
He's showing a stadium truck whilst talking about trophy truck speeds, (140). Those princes will just twin turbo it and make it faster up a sand dune than when you gave it to them.
