Recently while buying some jewellery from Tanishq, we gave some old ornaments originally made by P N Gadgil, Sangli. Even as per the caratometer at Tanishq - these old ornaments were found to be quite pure. It showed honesty of both.
I bought some items from Tanishq and exchanged some old gold items. The items were made by my jeweller at Gwalior and it was found that although it was marked and charged as 22 carats but it was found 14 carats at Tanishq caratometer. This was the dis honesty of local jewellers .

Bhai tanishq ko agar uski jewellery becho toh cash ke badle 3% cut karte hai. Lete hue kehte hai not cut only 100% return but at the time of asking cash against jewellery. They cut 3%. I had already paid. They don’t fulfill their promises. Because they never give in written.

Once Tanishq started I bought only from them. But I am no more crazy about ornaments. But if we take their gold anywhere without any hesitation any jeweler will buy without out checking.

Basic fundamental is in any business , it need a good investment . & good will ,& overall a nice profit . That’s a traditional jewellers doesn’t have . They have many designs with purity so people don't think about making charges. When you purchase jewellery from them they adds GST on purchase and at the time you gives them old jewellery than they don't show it on paper. Please make some light on this matter.

I purchased jwellery from Jharkhand Jharia jwellers Phusro , which is melted infront of me ,wah 13 carat ka nikla. All local jwellery are such types.
