- The drums were played by the Roland TR-6S (using its internal sequencer) with its new v2.0 firmware including the CR-78 sounds by the ACB (Analog Circuit Behavior) engine (actually I've been dreaming of this 😊).
All the synth parts were sequenced by the NDLR.
All sounds from the M are from the amazing "The blue journey" soundset by "synth nyc". Great use of "Transitions" (from the original PPG Waveterm) in this soundset 🤩

Simply
You make me happy in only 2 minutes!
Thx Bro
@@mauromattei9779 Thanks for your support mate! It really helps to find the energy in making more videos/jams 🤗 (it does take a lot of time to find the idea, connect the instruments, record, mix, make the video etc. 😅)
Thanks for showing off the CR-78 update! Your use of pedals always inspires me and gives me new ideas!
Glad you enjoyed it Patrick! Indeed I made this jam mainly because I wanted to share my rejoicing for this great free update for the TR-6S! I even loaded my TR-6S with a kit of samples from the CR-78 sounds before this 😊 I also wanted to use the soundset "The blue journey" for the M, which really impressed me with its mastery in sound design (including the use of "Transitions" from the PPG Waveterm for 32 presets!)
my favorite synths of all time. excellent setup
Glad you liked the setup 😃 (I guess you were talking about the Take 5 and not the M? I saw your detailed and interesting reply on my last video 😉)
AAaaaH !!! The Wonderful Waldorf M. Back in action and sounding better than ever 😋Great tune my friend always a treat when you release one !!😋😜👍jaffa j.
Thanks Jaffa! 🤗 For the M, I used 4 presets from "The blue journey": really amazing sound design going on in this one, with the use of "Transitions" too from the PPG Waveterm 🤩
Dawm i wish i knew how to download presets for my microfreak & Peak as there are amazing patches to minipulate & sculp 😢😢
you win ...you 've3 the perfect formula to make music dawless
Appreciate all your comments, thanks a lot! 😃🙏
Thanks for this fresh sound + perfect for wake-up time 💪
Glad you enjoyed it early in the morning! 😊
Great sound with great music. The take 5 and blue sky are impressive. 👍❤️
Thanks my friend, glad you enjoyed it 🤗 It's the first time I'm using the Take 5 in a video and must say it is quite an impressive and versatile synth 🤩 As for the Bigsky, it's the first time I'm using it on a drum machine (mainly for the reverb builds 😊)
Great sound! I kind of regret being impatient with the TR-6s and not fully exploring it. For example, I didn't realize it supported multiple virtual outputs until after I had put it up on Reverb ;)
Thanks Bran! Honestly when I got the TR-6S, it really wasn't a drum machine I set my sights on (it was just because it was transportable with some cool sound engines). After a couple of months, I really fell in love with this instrument! It really has a lot of features for such a small footprint: the 3 engines (ACB, FM and samples), all the performance tools (Step Loop, Fill-in, Master Effect...), the handy sliders with its customizable LEDs, automation, indeed multiple virtual outputs (even if I don't actually use it), etc.
I just really wished it had micro-timing (and maybe 2 more physical audio outputs 😊)
Oh yeah another cool feature I hadn't used so far too (which I've used in my upcoming jam 😉): the TR-6S makes a nice sequencer for external drum modules too! 😁
@@2MinuteWarning Yeah, this box's capabilities in such a form factor are really impressive. As you may or may not know, I'm kind of a die-hard 707 fan and it's the only hardware drum machine I've kept around after all these years. But I no longer actively use it after I sampled it through some of my analog preamps and EQ. For me drum machines really come to life when you effectively mix the individual outs and that consumes a lot of expensive interface i/o quickly.
@@lostoscilaltor Indeed for the TR-707 as I've heard it on quite a few of your tracks (for example the last one, 23.57? 😉) Yes I think that all drum machines should have at least 4 outputs 😅 (actually it's quite the case for a few drum machines I own like the Drumbrute Impact, Drumlogue, Tanzbar, LXR-02, ADX-1..., but unfortunately not for the TR-6S, but the small footprint is without any doubt the main reason for this!)
J’aime beaucoup.
