he plays it phenomenally. i have tried to play it myself and its like the left hand is le preux octaves while the right hand is a lot like feux follets but its even more difficult because you have to be able to easily reach a 10th and also all 5 fingers in a different pattern. you trill with 4 and 5, you play chromatic fourths with 2 and 3 (mereaux makes you stretch 4/5 and 2/3 very far apart), but 1 plays randomly plays a note that is difficult to match with the melody (usually a 10th). overall it is absurdly difficult and he plays it exactly how mereaux intended
This is so fucking cool!! I’m very happy you got to meet him :)) So happy to see that he’s such a cool and happy-go-lucky spirit while also being so incredibly talented
I was hoping for another rendition of no. 45, but I guess he didn't practice that again after his recording on his channel, and I get him 😅, although I would like a recording with a higher sound quality
The video is almost 2 years old as of the time I'm writing this comment. Do the math from his original recording of his piece and you'll get the maximum time between the two performances
@@erezsolomon3838 yeah 2 years, and that's still crazy as I usually forget pieces in a matter of months. I was just wondering if the recording was older than two years. Maybe I should have phrased my comment differently.
@@Jartious no, I got what you've said; that's why I wrote "maximum": it's less than 2 years. It could've been recorded right after he played this piece on his channel, and that this guy uploaded it only after compiling some other performances together. It could also be that he simply kept practicing it in the two year max span, and retained his proficiency at it up to the period where he played it here. It's similar to what I did with Chopin's Op 10 no. 5, "Black Keys": I began practicing it in 2021 I think, and retained it almost to a performance level for like a year and a half since I liked to play it so much, and as a result, I never forgot how to play it well, and better than when I first mastered it if I put my hours into it, and I managed to play it in a lot of concerts and even a competition
See him playing bravura with hand crossing is amazing 💯
He always plays no. 60 so amazingly perfect

이런 귀한 인재들이 군대에서 삭혀지고 있다니... ㅜㅜㅜㅜㅜㅜ
Even with that hand-crossing in Op. 63 No. 24, its still a breeze for him. His official recording did not have the hand-crossing tho

well, at least we got another rendition of no.60. I actually really like the way he played it in this video!
I have never seen anyone playing the 38th one
LOL
How old is this video? Because I'm quite surprised he could still play no.60 so well

Can't believe I never saw this until now
How on earth!!??
Woah, where did you get these?
I've recorded all the things. I'm considering about uploading his Spanish Fantasy trial recording right now.
@@DemitNWC Oh, you know them in real life? Or do they upload these clips on a different social media?
@@none5020 Yeah, I've met him several times in person. And these are the clips which I took with my cell-phone camera. Thanks!
