Special thanks to Bartlomiej Szoja for his spectacular video work! Видеоклипы
kids like these gives me hope that music is still evolving in a fast pace, he's a prodigy
Everytime i watch Jakub play i never get the impression that he's showing off. The music that comes out of this man is just natural and unpretentious. He's up there with modern rock fusion greats like Howe, Govan, Garsed, Quayle, Hutchings
I think it was "Eighties" amp simulation on PodFarm.
Really standard settings and just a little bit of compression.
It sounds nice because of that guitar definitely. The instrument is just awesome and old as hell!
This album and its successor "Foreword" are extremely under rated progressive metal albums from the last 10 years.
...and every so often someone appears who is a realm of his own...
+Brett Fairchild That was both eloquent and poignant, sir.
Jakub combines so many different flavors in his playing - hard not to love this guy!
Have been wtching this video for the last five years.. you are creating history jakub
Not only is he a guitar god, but he plays bass too?! Dude. You're my favorite person. haha Message From Atlantis is in my top 5 favorites btw. Such a great song.
This kid is ridiculous. Probably my favourite guitarist, within reason.
Words can't describe how much this video has helped me. Not only from my guitar playing, but from production and how to layer FX in a mix. He just has it all!
Jakub Zytecki guest solos(and some more) in my video playlist!!!
haha wow! Thanks dude, all the best!
Jakub, I'm so glad you and I are alive at the same time in history...your music is wonderful.
This is one of the best guitar players in the world. Period.
Man the Aum riff and slap bass sections were nasty. Everything this guy writes is amazing
Wow! Just with his description of what he was going for really shows his talent and maturity in expressing the message of the song/moment. Beautiful soundscapes and harmonies! Oh, he also plays bass very well!..Very cool band!
Jakub, you are honestly one of the best and most innovative players i've seen in a while. Keep up the excellent work! (y)
It’s ridiculous how much this man inspires me
His clean sound at the beggining is amazing its just gorgeous
Yes he's very musical and i think Jakub is the type of guitarist that can make cheap guitars/gears sound good.. His "finger-tone" is great, his phrasing is mature and musical.
Jakub is just a prodigy...
I am simply floored by your guitar work... it's really inspiring indeed. You've got a new fan!
Love this Work!!!
Brilliant talent !!! . Good for you Jakub :) .
So freaking awesome!!
Thanks for uploading, just became a fan of his band .... this guy is great!!
Damn, this kid is the new age Mozart
you're one of my favorite guitar players!
I finally got around to watching this...sooo glad I did
How can you not appreciate this kids musical IQ. Stunning.
DispersE Forever ❤️
Inspiring... awesome chord progressions....Jazzy
Thanks, Jakub! And good luck)
This was really interesting! Love your song writing.
That bass part! Holy f**k! Amazing.
Tuning GEADGBE!... Jakub is freakin' awesome!
I dont think so he says the first chord is Dm7 on the 5th string which should be Gm7 if it was tuned, i believe it si something else.
dude you are crazy and you are a super awesome musician
… and on the eighth day, God created Jakub… and there was music once again!
fk1ng love it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! LOVE ITTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT!!!!!!!! My God, that riff!! thank you GM for making this possible. been searching for their stuff all over.
Cieszę się, że polska muzyka na światowym poziomie to nie tylko ekstremalny Death Metal.
i miss this Disperse, ngl.
BEST GUITARIST IN THE WORLD
Great stuff Jakub! Great Creativity!
Again!!! Some beautiful shit!! Very Impressed with his work.
I'd get a full album now!! :-P Fo Sho!
What impresses me is that not only he has great chops, but also the amount of 'feel' he has, you know, things like expressive bending, slide and vibrato..
This dude owns every feel, bend, vibrato and technique. He's very dynamic, doesn't sound robotic, and has killer phrasing.. that's what i found lacking in most modern prog metal players these days.. in my opinion
Ten riff z 8:15 jest tak wyjebany że brak słów!
Dawaj następną płytę i więcej takich nagrań
Aum's chorus is my favorite part of the whole album.
I love Poland.
where can i get that "additional rythm loop" thing, sounds great
its funny how some of these passages sound more interesting when played slow
@twilightened hehe i see
He's a genious
❤️❤️❤️
please, Jakub Zytecki, i really want to work as a game composer to a gaming company in the philippines. i am a filipino and i want to do this. i love pc games, progressive stuff, and disperse. this my first youtube account and i commented my first comment to you. that's like feeling the "unbroken shiver". i really love your ambient sound and everything about you being original and very creatively unique. i want to learn that. teach me. i'm very happy right now. UNIVERSAL LOVE.
This guy is my goddamned hero
Ibanez rgd2127z the guitar he is using
It's RGD model!
Cheers!
młody jesteś geniuszem! pozdrawiam, TWÓRZ DALEJ!!!
💖💖🎸🎸
More lessons should be taken...I hope
Genius
The ambient chord section is very holdsworth-esque
He's much better than the majority of djent players these days, his phrasing sounds natural and unpretentious.
Your drums sounds amazing! what software do you use to program them? superior? :)
Jaw dropping...
His music feels natural & unpretentious
anyone reading this that hasnt seen it yet, go search *"Jakub Żytecki guitar improvisation"* - one of his earliest videos shows him around age 13 improving a beautiful solo section to his own backing track. its absolutely staggering seeing such talent aat such a young age- its no wonder he has grown to become such a well known name in rock/prog royalty. beautiful.
And he is also a better bass player than most people! Dude just vomits genius music! Insane! :D
Awesome guitarrist.. How do you play 05:54?? very nice music from this young man \m/
Dude plays like a FUCKEN DOCTOR. Effortless groove during those jams. Seems like a true musician.
How do you reach this bass sound?
if you enable captions it says "hello my name is separatist commander..."
Hey Jakub! What pick do you use?
Which bass is that btw? i know it's a fender, but which exact model
fender precision bass
How come you re-uploaded this?
8:49 That run tho.
Standard tuning?
axe fx?
Tuning/s ?
02:56 Based on what feel? Can't get that properly.
Syncopated fell = Syncopation
Thank you, Peter
np :)
Precisely!!! I got excited when I read the word "instrumentals." I thought that it was gonna say that there was an instrumental album haha
Fuck.
Tunning please?
How are you this good?! Hiding in the shadows...
Nope, it was just a little Line 6 GX.
Why didn't Mayones infested Jacuk's house with free guitars and basses and a endorser deal yet?
Is he czech or polish?
Im guessing polish as his hometown is Przeworsk, Poland. ^^
He seems Zvonimir Boban xD
you look like james hetfileld dude lol
Kryptomia Deathmetalizer He looks nothing like Hetfield
I'd rather see him get endorsed by Tom Anderson, Suhr or Vigier
he looks like the guy from american horror story lmao
I have realised I am nothing.
Its Metal Theo Von
jakub zytecki is much better than a prog-metal player who pretend to play jazz & fusion but sounds lame and pretentious like chris letchford
Sorry you feel that way dude. I personally love this guys playing, phrasing and music along with Chris'. Hope you can enjoy those two in the future maybe, for the are amazing musicians in my eyes! Have a good one!
I don't think Chris is pretentious at all lol. I actually feel like he could shred a lot more than he does, but he keeps it to himself because he prefers harmony.
super cool instrumentals but lame singing
Allan Holdsworth comes to mind with those opening chords ...
