I saw exactly this performance live in the hall in Athens - the final of ESC 2006. This was my favourite song of the night - should have won. It would have been a deserved straight away victory in the first Armenian appearance in this show. My heart is with Armenia, I am so sorry for you wonderful people facing such a difficult time now.
Is it me or does André looks like he's in an Assassin's Creed cosplay at the beginning way before Assassin's Creed was even made? Setting that aside, I'm starting to love this entry from Armenia all thanks to ESC Radio. Honestly this Armenian Eurovision entry needs more love, it seems underrated.
It is you. Wearing a hood doesn't mean cosplaying Assassin's Creed lol 😁 And I'm pretty sure sequins are not canon in Assassin's Creed 😂 They were, however, the ultimate fashion trend in the noughties! 😄 I still own a few similar hoodies from back then too! 😀
Perfect performance, perfect song! I am living for the fusion of modern instrumentation and ethnic traditions. It is just so a,axing that this song still sounds modern and fresh 16 years later! What a debut for Armenia 🇦🇲!! Wish they would send something like this again!
Just found this track on a recap video in the year 2023. The chorus, instrumental and traditional Armenian interpretation is very catchy. Very glad to have found this, all those years later haha
On Armenia's debut in ESC, they opened the semifinal and closed the grand final! when going out to buy Athens 2006 2CD the day it came out my eyes were struck when looking at the back to see Armenia were competing, being a UEFA member it wasn't so surprising so I welcomed them. This is overall a very good song and a cool performance, Andre did his homeland proud finishing 8th. Not the first time there was an entry called "Without Your Love" in Eurovision though and it was only 5 years prior!
Why don't you show the world "your" instruments instead of sending Swedish songs every year to Eurovision? People in glass houses shouldn't throw stones.
Why do the Azeris care so much about where the instruments come from when its literally an object that will make the same sound when played no matter what..
Reading the comments and it's funny because I don't see anyone from England complaining about the song being sung in English. Estonia had a song in Italian and I don't know that anyone from Italy complained... people, just chill or take it to a closed forum because we don't need that in Eurovision.
