You can tell someone isn’t a serious person when they can’t objectively look at the state of an individual. Unfortunately, Trump is very mobile and very sharp for a 70 year old right now. It's pretty bad when you have to take precautions ahead of the debate with mute buttons because you KNOW one of the guys behaves like an absolute baby.. They literally needed a mute button so that Trump won't just scream and shout over other people.

See here is the thing Ziony, what I just said is far more accurate than what you said. I don't agree with Biden's stance on Israel. But I Know he is trying to get a ceasefire. Once don trump is elected, he will not care, and support more military action against Palestine.
It's going to be one of these guys. So which outcome is the least bad. Because it WILL be one of these outcomes. You have no choice on that. You can only choose on which of these two outcomes. So what are you going to do? Let Israel kill everyone, or put up what meager defense you can? Will you vote for someone who will actively fight to destroy Palestine (or not vote which does the same thing), or vote for someone who will still support Israel, but is actively putting some pressure on them to stop, and has the potential to be influenced by the electorate?
It's one or the other. There is no option for a better path. So do you grow up and accept this, or still live in your fantasy land?

Part of Trump's advantage is that he's never done anything but spew word-salad, trying to straddle every possible position he can. So he's created some weird political place where can constantly flutter like a moth between viewpoints, like where Biden is simultaneously a dementia-raddled idiot, but also a strong debater. And Paul Ryan is a skilled debater, but also a weakling, and so on and so forth. Me and a buddy at at a place I worked used to have a running contest with each other over a narcissistic coworker, involving his favorite phrase: 'Not necessarily!". We'd compete to see who could get him to say that in response to the most concrete statement, i.e. 'water is wet', 'the sky is very blue today', 'customer X should be calling any moment now'...big fun, if you handle it right.

I think they should always have the producer(s) on screen. They add something to the mix, and they have pleasant faces.
The Trump people did the same thing in 2020, setting the stage with a bunch of insults and jabs at Biden. Then when Biden showed up with a pulse he automatically outperformed expectations. It also didn't help that Trump basically had a two hour long sloppy meltdown. Then he backed out of the second debate in favor of the dueling town halls format, where Biden is at his strongest. imo that was one of the fatal mistakes they made in 2020. Trump is good at talking *at* people in a rally format, he isn't nearly as good at talking to them. Let alone having to answer questions from people who might not like him.

I just try to remember that Biden challenged Trump for this debate early. I think it’s a sound strategy to challenge trump in a debate right now because he is busy with so many court cases and recently received a criminal conviction. Plus Trump is running for president on top of all of that litigation. You can only stretch yourself so thin until you snap.
