If the first rogue would hit Rotface with the 1 Damage Poisen Dagger, would rotface summon a minion? like does he survive the 1 damage hit and then die of poison or does he just die?

No, he gets poisoned and he dies, therefore he doesn't summon a minion and dies. Tried it, didn't work. Same stuff with Grimm Patron and other cards like these.

When you (are able to) hold evolution until turn 10 it is the definition of a win more card.. Should be 2 mana/once per minion.
