📡 “Skies Of Andromeda” is from the new album “Secrets Of The Stars” by Dreamstate Logic, available now.
Dreamstate Logic is the solo electronic music project of Colby Sixx (b. 1985) currently residing in the vast, unforgiving expanse of desert land known as Arizona. Drawing influences from the entire spectrum of electronic music genres, Dreamstate Logic manifests in the form of a constantly evolving futuristic downtempo/ambient/electronic soundscape containing the energy of all the thoughts, emotions, and experiences of his own personal journey through inner and outer space.
An active synth musician for over 15 years, he worked endlessly for over a decade as the keyboardist of a melodic metal band, obtaining live performance, tour, and studio recording experience first hand along the way, working with many well known producers and performing at several large and small venues around the country.
The love for electronic music had always been there since his first interests in trance and industrial music in his early teen years, and all the time performing and writing over the years felt that he could express himself musically much better in a solo setting. So the experiments began with electronic music composition in 2010 and eventually parted ways with his previous musical endeavors in pursuit of this project exclusively.
Dreamstate Logic is a project with the goal in mind of inspiring deeper contemplations of our universe and the reality we are all a part of. Conscious observers within an infinitely vast cosmos, so quick to forget that we are all a part of the same infinity... and if only for a moment we are able to stop and take a step back and open our minds and simply observe, we will realize the fact that the energy contained within us all is a part of something much bigger, much older, and much more powerful than we can even begin to comprehend. And once we all come to this realization and begin to resonate with ourselves and others and the world around us, a new age of enlightenment will be within our grasp...

somewhere far away in the constellation andromeda there is a world .. an amazing world. Wonderful truly spiritual people live there. A world where there are no wars, hunger, diseases, depressions. A world where everything is harmonious and joyful ..
I'm one of those people that listen to this type of music whenever im stressed out or having a hard time. Listening to this brings me at peace knowing my problems are so tiny compared to the vast universe. Thank you for posting these and keep them coming :)

Nice transition at 1:34. Love your music. It's easy to tell that you know what you are doing. All those years of production is showing of in excellence. I like the fact that you choose to keep your bas-lead quite dry. It's nice when it raise pitch and you open up the filter a bit, so that the reverb gets it's signals :). Great float in this one!!

The Initiative, sitting ready to make their jump to Andromeda. Two go for engineers a space walk to talk. But the beauty of the galaxy illuminates the hull of the ship. First engineer asks the other "you think will make it there? In one piece?" The other replies "I dont know man, anything can happen. We could fall out of our jump and just became dead in the water floating endlessly in dark space. But we'll make it" the two turn and go back inside the airlock as the engines warm up to make their new life in Andromeda. Much love dont stop

Such a beautiful peace. I've always told myself I will never write any of those "personal story" comment, but now I've suddenly realised it is a time. My beloved girlfriend who supposed to be my wife broke up with me week ago, her love has been transformed from love to hatred and although I don't know the reason and it hurts so much, like when my father died 3 years ago, I've realised that life filled with negativity, fear and anger leads only to a suffering bigger than heartbreak. I wish for her and all of you to find a forgiveness for other people and also for yourselves. Change your life and live better, every day is the new start. I can here an acceptance, forgiveness and hope in this song which I listen to every day. We all are from space dust, which was or maybe will be one day a part of Skies Of Andromeda..

I have the opposite opinion. If you try to view the entire track as a separate piece rather than concentrating on one particular instrument / sample, it becomes a nice addition to it.
