Just take a picture of the assembly before you take it apart.i used a vise grip and put a 1 foot pipe on the end of the vice grips to get the springs back on
@@bobcat8439 I've got the same problem ,on a different NPR , it has drum brakes , brakes are binding and the adjusters are seized. I know it will be a lot of hard work , to get it back working properly again.
By any chance did this issue having the bad wheel bearing cause the abs light to come on?? I'm having a issue with my truck it's a 2000 v8 gas 130k miles out of no where abs lights flashed an stayed on an the truck went into high idle and didn't shift past 2nd gear. Took to dealer for full diagnostic test did that said rear right abs wheel sensor faulty and idle air control valve faulty changed both still the same thing, so I want to say maybe the abs sensor is close to the abs rmwheel rings maybe cause wheel bearing need to be replaced?? Just curious to know if this truck had abs light on or flickering.
@@vidtech2630 ok, thank you. Mine is a 2000 this style is 1996-2006 I believe and just can't seem to find out the problem with it and it's costed me lots of money as of now

You will need a decent capacity jack axle stands , wheel brace fits wheel bearing retaining nut .general spaner set and/ or ratchet set. Big flathead screwdriver and a heavy hammer for knocking out old bearing shells. And a punch to drive in the new shells. I think shat should cover it. Good luck.

Good question , if that was a question....and I have quoted the FACTORY specs in the video , for those who want to adhere 100% to those. And from memory , even on brand new parts assembled in factory there is 20 NM difference in the low and high setting , who determines that? let alone a vehicle that has covered over half a million km . There will be variances , for various reasons. And those settings are for final adjustment, and not even for "setting the bearings" Thank you for your comment.
You are a life saver thank you so much 🙏
Hey partner, this is a really good video. Thank you. Say, you wouldn't have a video on how to do the drum brakes for this vehicle would you?
Thanks , good to hear you liked the video. I dont , but i will do one on the front drums shoe replacment , when it comes up.

Hi , this truck is late 90s model and has no ABS , the wheel bearing started making noises , and it was fixed for that reason alone.

I DON'T THINK YOU SET THE BEARINGS CORRECTLY. THERE'S A TORQUE SPEC.

There is an easier way which is to open the Samula41 without opening the tire and brother
No, there isn't, the rear bearing can only be accessed this way , believe, bro.
