    Great video. Thank you for taking the time to create this. As anyone who has seen the written instructions for the blind will know they are really bad. Your video took away all my confusion about how to do the assembly. I can't understand why they don't improve the instructions since almost everyone complains.
    Again, thanks

      For sure
      And no problem

    Wondering if that blind will fade colors. If it doesnt fade or get holes, it would be perfect.. Thanks for sharing.

      Ours has been up for a few months and no issues
      We do expect it to fade and need replacement if left out
      But the pop up blind is replaceable

    Hunting out of a elevated pop up blind cost me two of the better deer I have ever encountered during archery season. One was the downward angle and the other was a side angle. Slot windows are a must from an elevated position imo…

      @@richstafford1245 this one has corner windows and big center windows
      But definitely agree with you

    I built a 6 sided vertical window blind for under $1000 but i had a wood platform with soft sided blind on top for a season. It worked nice and mostly kept wind off us. If you add a little outdoor carpet on base or plywood it could make it more scent proof and warmer in winter. Great idea though. Those muddy blinds are outrageously priced!

    • @outdooradventures811
      @outdooradventures811  5 месяцев назад +1

      Agreed, and we might put that outdoor carpet in this one
      We also might buy the bigger version

    I saw this blind at Sportsmens Warehouse. I thought how good could it be for that price? Seeing your video, it seems much better than I thought! I will order one now! Thanks!

    Great video.
    Can the center window be used for rifle or archery? Or is it too high?

    • @outdooradventures811
      @outdooradventures811  6 месяцев назад

      We have used it for both and is a better window
      After we made this video we did more testing
      As a shooter we swapped sides and sat on the left
      Making the bow or rifle be in the center
      Worked a lot better and more comfortable

    RUclips is full of ridiculous gimmicks, but that blind is slick. Might have to look into getting myself one or two at that price. Thanks for the video. The only thing "I" would do would be to loosely assemble it and spray some Great Stuff or equivalent spray foam for sound dampening. Remove one bolt at a time and spray a little Great Stuff (a quick little spray) and quickly insert the bolts and tight them up. It doesn't take a lot of spray foam, because anyone that has used Great Stuff or anything like that, knows that stuff expands fast. Sounds like overkill, but I do that to my ladder tree stands and climbing sticks. That's just me. I hate creaks or squeaks when on stand. Another commenter mentioned a carpet. That would also be beneficial for the reasons he mentioned. Thanks for letting me ramble.

    And for $300 you could put 3 up for under a thousand and have everyone hunting. Thanks for the video.

    Unfortunately, if you do not remove the fabric of the blind it fades fast and then the holes start appearing. Other then that is is a great stand

    • @outdooradventures811
      @outdooradventures811  5 месяцев назад +1

      We agree and with the pop up blind going to crap is still a minor issue compared to the price
      Take 3 minutes remove it and put it back in the bag
      Or replace it
      Both cheaper options then the permanent ones
      This is a budget option
      Not a forever lasting in the elements option

    How does it handle high winds?

    • @outdooradventures811
      @outdooradventures811  6 месяцев назад

      Seems to be fine, we had some high tornado warning winds here a few weeks ago and it's still standing. I would assume it would tear the ground blind off the top before it tips over

    How is it as far as being waterproof ?

    • @outdooradventures811
      @outdooradventures811  6 месяцев назад

      @@mrtcward so far seems great
      It’s just a standard pop up blind on top of a platform
      So water just runs off the top and down the sides
      I’m sure after a season or two it may wear and get some drips inside from heavy rain the the top is replaceable if it gets too bad
