I get "command _pecats2 is unrecognized" error when using wbopendata, topics(15) long command. ı would much appreciate if you could help me solve this error
Thank you for such a great and detail explanation. i'm in the middle of research of panel data and find some trouble in dealing with outliers. How to deal with it? my box plot proved that i have some data outside the upper line of box plot for all of my variable. Is it showing the outliers? and what should i do? is it going to affect my result? (N.b: after doing hausmann and any other test for choosing the best regression model for panel data, the result suggested that i should run a random effect) really wish you could help, thank you :)
This is really helpful. In your example, if I want to keep countries with at least one observation for y variable for the entire period (i.e 1960-2019) and drop only countries that Y is missing for entire period (1960-2019), how to do that? This is a burning question for my research. It is really appreciated if you could suggest a command. Many thanks
Hi, I know this a rather dumb question but I am genuinely stuck. I tried to type "wbopendata,topics(15) long" and it kept saying command _pecats2 is unrecognized. I tried a dozen times but it still doesn't work. However, the command worked without "long"- wbopendata,topics(15) clear. I indeed don't know where went wrong. TIA! (p.s. I am certain that my STATA and that package is up-to-date)
I'm a physician but I found it extremely useful. Keep it up.
Thank you so much! I was pulling my hair out, no one made it simple language. Thank you!!!!
