    Simply in love with this company. Very happy with the Heritage. Recently bought the Elliot but just to own it, not better.

    Got mine in the mail two days ago. It's the best capo I've used... and I've used many (including the Thalia Capo). The Heritage is beautifully built and the 'Adaptive Radius Technology' simply works. Highly recommended.

      Just goy one too. Maybe I'm doing something wrong, but feels like such a step down from my Shubb. Just kinda mystified.

    In my 44 years of playing professionally, I believe that I've likely used nearly, if not every quality capo that's been on the market. I began using G7th Capos when I first saw them advertised in a guitar mag. Once I did, I never went back to other capos. I've used every different model of G7th and when The Heritage came out, it changed everything for me. I had far fewer issues with former models by G7th, but The Heritage keeps my strings tuned as they were prior to putting on my guitar. At first, I thought I was tightening too far to get rid of buzzes and would end up sharp, but I was happily proved to be wrong. The Heritage is the last capo I'll ever buy - at long last!

    i have a couple of these Heritage capos and they are the best i've used but the real story here is the customer service: i had a problem with one of mine and the folks at G7th went FAR above and beyond what anyone might reasonably expect in the way of service to ensure that i was back in action with little delay. probably the best customer service experience i've had in my five decades!

    very informative video, but would love to hear a sample of a guitar's sound with the capo that demonstrates the lack of sharpness or buzzing in an audible demo!

      Hi Frank. Many thanks for your email :) The answer is - maybe ...
      If you send me an email over to tommy.loose@g7th.com we can talk specifics and figure out if this will work for your guitar. Primarily we need to know nut width, width of the fretboard at the highest point you're likely to want to use it and the neck depth
      Look forward to hearing from you soon!
      Best wishes,
      Tommy

    I've recently struggled on the 5th and 4th fret where the g string isn't forced down enough with many other capos...I just bought a performance 2 and it simply works...HOWEVER later that day I started my set and capod the first fret and the performance 2 just doesnt pull down enough and the b string buzzes.
    This isn't a complaint about that capo it just doesnt work on my taylor grand pacific. It has a slight v neck profile with a rounded 12" radius...the neck profile changes around the 3rd fret to a c shape.
    My question is...can you change the rubbers on the heritage capo? I think it will work very well on my guitars but I dont want to pay over £100 every year and for each guitar. New rubber would sell me.

      @@thefisherman2837 Yes, it will work on the Grand Pacifics - that's exactly what the ART was designed for; working on all different guitar necks. I suspect the one on Amazon is one of ours, but it will be one of the earlier production batches. I'd suggest trying to get a newer one as there have been several updates. What country are you in?

    Oh Yeah !! Make one for a 12 string acoustic guitar (Guild) that will REARLY work, and i'll be interested !!!

    • @g7thcapo
      @g7thcapo  6 лет назад +1

      The Wide Guitar model can be ordered with a different insert for a 12-string capo. It has ridges in the bar rubber so the heavy string and octave strings fret at the same time, meaning you won't pull anything sharp :-D

    • @nickgoogle4525
      @nickgoogle4525 4 года назад

      @@g7thcapo In a review it was mentioned that the ridged rubber bar works as well (or even better) than the regular pad for 6-strings as well. So, if that's the case why would not all capo's have the rigded rubber pad? Or at least the Heritage wide (and possibly also normal)!?

    • @g7thcapo
      @g7thcapo  4 года назад +1

      @@nickgoogle4525 Hi Nick! While the Compensated String Pad will work with standard 6 string guitars, there is some compromise due to differing nut widths and string spacing. You should find that on a 12 string it will be great. On 6 strings, particularly if they have smaller string spacings, the ridges won't match the spacing as well. The ridges are designed to cope with this, but a standard Heritage with a regular string pad would usually get better results. I hope that helps!

    Why aren't these manufactured in the US/UK. If Elliott can hand make every capo nearly identical to this for almost the exact same price then so can G7th. Outsourcing to China to save labor costs and taking jobs away from your countrymen, and then turning around and charging the same is really being kind of a scummy company...
