Toontown - How the Cogs Were Made (Old Download Intro)

- The Story:
Toontown was a home for Toons everywhere, but when Scrooge McDuck was going to see his employee Gyro Gearloose, he found a robot and of course he thought he could sell it to Toons. He connected the wrong wires and made the robot turn evil. The robot (Possibly the Chairman the CEO talks about?) started making other robots called "Cogs" and told them to takeover Toontown. Scrooge has not been seen since.
The History of it:
This was the origonal downloading Toontown intro, which now we have the crappy one that just tells about Toontown. They removed it when they added SBHQ and updated the Playgrounds. Notice the different logo in the begining?
How the intro might tie in to TT soon:
If you go to the TIPS on Toontown.com you will see they are talking about the rumored COG NATION. Please dont start insulting me about this, but I think since Toontown is talking about Cog Nation, I think it will come out and also I think that robot is the Chairman with Scrooge McDuck captured in Cog Nation.

Fun fact: what Scrooge has unleashed here is so incredibly dangerous, if the cogs are allowed to win, they will expand their empire to other planets and intelligences according to the toowntown 2.0 leaks.

@metalsnake27 The Chairman should also have all four lietuenants at his side during the battle, the CEO, the CFO, the VP, and the CoJ. Imagine the difficulty of that. The final battle should take place underground, in a giant subterranean metropolitan fortress linked by all four Headquarters, tunnels that connect to each HQ.

@littleorfyn ToonTown was a place that toons called home, but then Scrooge activated the cog. The cogs were serious and wanted to turn ToonTown into an evil and business-like place.
Did anyone here who originally watched this in 2003 play Disney Blast at all? It was also an ad-free subscription service with tons of flash-based games.

Ahh, I remember when this was the download intro. I was like, 5. lol. I still play sometimes.
imagine if Plankton thought that a giant sea monster would help him get the krabypaty formula but instead it makes more monster putting himself and all of Bikinibottom in danger.
Gearloose did not make the robot to destroy toontown -_- What happened is that he was an inventor, and one day he invented a robot. One day when he was almost done, but did not know what the robot would do, his so-called ''friend'' Scrooge McDuck came, and, thinking that this robot would get him money, he connected the wrong wires ON ACCIDENT, and the robot became evil, made other cogs, etc. Perhaps if he connected the blue to blue, or red to red, the robot would be useful and Toony...ish

I added sound to it but I guess when I converted it it was messed up. O_o Thanks for pointing that out.
it would be facinating if the chairman did become a boss. maybe the reward would be our 7th gag track :D and the 7th track gags work like "levels" where you earn the next gag every 5 or so wins against the Chairman. that would be cool. like there are 8 cog suits per rank, there would be 7 gags and... the last gag. there are 49 gags. the "Missing Gag", that is a one hit kill for a row of cogs (or maybe a boss :D), would make 50. who knows what that gag might be. though, its only an idea...

some toons say that this is the Chairman , The boss of ALL the Boss.MAYBE toontown will create a chairman...and the biggest hint was when i battled the CEO and i won and he said "the chairman wont like this" and many Toon beleive that the big grey robot IS the chairman...

@maxthebeast Just thinking of a world where the Cogs did not exist due to Scrooge is interesting. Toons had no worry of war on their minds, and who knows what used to be where the HQ's are at now. There could have been four other neighborhoods that could have been destroyed because the Cogs overwhelmed them and set up their own bases. Harmony is curious.

Here's a theory. What if the giant cog was NOT the Chairman? What if it appears for you to fight when you defeat the Chairman? A surprise final boss, if you will.
And if he had a name, would it be "The Dictator"?
@joey19982 Untrue, even without the war and violence, the game still has content. You don't need to fight to enjoy the game, it can rely on its fishing, minigames, hanging out with friends, go-kart. The game does not only revolve around the Cogs. There are tons of online games where fighting isn't an option and relaxing is the key.
I think the place in chip and dales acres is cog nations, and you gotta fight this dude when you master EVERYTHING in toontown but when you do defeat him you get some kind of awesome prize but you can still do everything in toontown, its not like you win and you dont play anymore because that would ruin it.

Various fictionals: Atleast the clones of ours and the cogs are enjoying their life and career, thanks to Mickey and our councils.
They sort it out with peace and help with life. :/
@pidku8 Given the fact that the Lead Robot activated the Cog clones with his inner core chip or whatever, as seen when he zaps life into them from his antennae rods. It looks likely he is the motherboard of all Cogs in the land, take him down, their life support goes kaput.
and finally you all work together to try to break the wires and put them in the right way and then Scrooge is saved and returned safely and makes all cogs good and happily ever after the end. THATS what I THINK. ( i promise i don't work for toontown.) ( and i ran out of room to as well. )
@Halloween255 Gyro made him to help toons. You see in the video that scrooge crossed the wires.

@alishashaan That was my assumption too, it looked like he was taken captive. I mean c'mon, Disney isn't going to say Scoorge was annihilated by the Cogs. This is for kids for goodness sake. A rescue mission to save him would be cool, also would be cool if Donald helped lead an army to save his Uncle. Which reminds me, all the Disney leaders should rise up. You always hear Mickey saying he took down a lot of Cogs today. Let the other characters fight alongside the Toons. Minnie, Goofy, n' Daisy!

this is SO unfair if the cog are made & it keeps coming & the toontown news kept calling we need ur help now, then we'll rather ignore them & we don't care since the cogs never stop coming.
They still have that video at the Japanese Toontown website, except it has voices, but it's in Japanese

In the charles dickens book a chirstmas carol, all scrooge cared about was money. well, until the end, and he starts dancing, but whatever. he said something about it making lots of money for him. so now, being made a disney character, scrooge half went back to his old self and screwed it up for everyone again. goofy should go to him "Jacob Marley version" and do the story all over again LOL.

@MyidolGwen So true. One of those games was Pixie hollow. I loved playing it when toontown was down. It was still fun even without the fighting. Tee hee.

Not quite, Gyro Gearloose made him to keep toontown safe. But what Scrooge Mc Duck should have done was put the red wire to red wire and blue wire to blue wire. Instead he made the wires red to blue and blue to red.

The giant robot is the Chairman ppl!!!! After he created those cogs and sent them off to toontown, he then created the VP, CFO, CJ, and CEO. GREEDY SCROOGE, YOU SHOULD HAVE NEVER TOUCHED THAT MACHINE!!!!!

( ran out of room ) and so, i think that it will become a blue screen that says " 48 hours later " and your out of the crate and ready to go fight the chairman with other toons already there waiting to fight, With Mickey and Minnie so that there are 5 people on each side ( mickey one side minnie other ) and you have to run up to him and attack him with your gags for the first round staying on your side. second round the cogs. all diff kinds.
