i've watched two seasons in TWO DAYS. Call me badass, lol. I'm at season 5 now. That show is one of the best ever cause i luv the 60's and the characters are so intense (john is the ultimate alpha male and the women are drop dead gorgeous, well, mot of them, lol)
I swear this man, yes is handsome, but I find him so much more attractive specifically as Don Draper. LIke Daniel Craig, who to me, is only super handsome as James Bond

His face can be Superman and Wyatt Earp and if he grows some facial and means up he's a villain or a crazy cop who's gonna break a bank robbing crew down. His voice is commanding. "Million Dollar Arm" was one of the most touching films I have seen in a long time.
I’ve never watched ‘Mad Men’ so didn’t know he was in it, but damn, that really is an ethereally handsome man. Hamm is very handsome from certain angles and definitely seems charming, but just now having flashbacks to ‘L.A. Law’ makes me swoon over Hamlin.
i didn't watch it for 15 years actually but then i bought 7 seasons on DVD and i love it! I've seen like a thousand shows but this is a top ten favourite easy. I can understand why they got that many awards. You really should watch it
Re: smoking...I walked into my first real job as a Jr. Aerospace Engineer right out of college in late 1979 and I was already a smoker and was put in a small office with two old Engineers who both smoked like chimney's...there would literally be smoke rolling out of our office...but we all got awards and promotions for our work on the Pershing intermediate range nuclear tipped ballistic missile that Reagan put in Germany a couple years later.
I wonder how close Jon Hamm ever came to playing any of the Superman films / Superman role films of the 2000s - 2010s? His younger self would certainly be cut-out for the appearance of that character.

what draws the comparison to Sopranos? they're both acclaimed prestige dramas but other than that, totally different. anyway they're BOTH great (although Sopranos is a bit superior)
