Wendy, these are very sweet creations honoring a saint, a day, a nation, and Christians. For this 100% Irish gal (on Dad's side), March 17 is a celebration of all that, along with a family tradition of prayer intentions and lighting a memorial candle at Mass for my dad's older brother(and only sibling), Patrick, who died in Ireland, within a few days of his birth🙏👼. My grandparents left Tipperary for Kansas City, where my dad (middle name--Patrick) was born 2 years later. When my husband retires in 2 years, we have plans to tour the west coast and visit MANY cousins in the central farmland of that Emerald Isle💕☘.

Crafting IS messy! That's all the fun. 😜 No worries! I personally prefer the entire scene. It makes it easier for me to see the entire lesson. I did a mini blooming shamrock ☘️ by using the mini terracotta pot, faux lavender, greenery, a foam shamrock that comes on a pick. They came out cute.

My son asked me to decorate the valentine tree to a st pattys tree but this color green be perfect so not too bright. I been doing spring and Easter lately. I twined the nautical rope from Walmart over Easter eggs. They look pretty cute.. Going to add to a wreath. I also see bee hives with them for summer! Silly but so much fun. You and a few others have brought my craft back! I use to sell home interior. Remember them? After they sold I lost myself for awhile but back!! Better then ever. Thank you for all your ideas. I always like to see the messy surround. That’s life. At least when you’re crafting. My favorite was when you worked on the plastic fence pieces and you just kept going and used almost every bit of those pieces. I worry about all the plastic being bought at the dollar tree as a result of all the you tube videos. Hopefully everyone is as conscientious as you are.

Love the St. Patrick’s project’s especially with the softer muted greens. I don’t have much for decor for St. Patty’s day and now I’m inspired to make my own! I do have a tip for you when it comes to the glitter on DT items: Spray or apply Goo-be-Gone and let sit a few minutes and then wipe off 😊

St. Patrick's is the day after my birthday and I'm of Irish decent. Welch and Pa Dutch. McCormick and Williams!! My dad's mom was a Gillingham!! These are all wonderful, but all your crafts are. I went to find the green buffalo plaid scarf, but our stores didn't get. Maybe they will. The manager of the closest to me is a friend and will hold if she gets. She's good that way. I like these very much. I can handle these, So much of the St Patrick decor stuff is obnoxious, cheap and gaudy looking and I don't care for it. I enjoy the look and they are items people associate with the date but in a nice way. Thanks, Wendy you have once again done a lovely job.

Good afternoon Wendy
I just adore you! Your so sweet and you let us know what not to do. A little tip for fabric and mod podge. I cut out what I need (a little larger) place it on dt's clear cutting mat mod podge it. Place in the oven on cookie sheet at the lowest setting for about 15 minutes. Than I place it on the item I am deco podgeing than attach like you would place back in oven till dry. Than take your crafting knife and cut off excess from the back of item. Makes it so easy to remove the excess and the fabric won't fray. I am always barking my mod podge. Makes the process go so much faster. Just a tip you may like. I have loved all your projects. You can also do this with your paint projects. I think I use my oven more for crafting than cooking! LOL.
