Honestly I really love how Teminite manages to keep a melodic feel to his music whilst t=still making it really hard hitting. Many producers nowadays go for dubstep which is much more drop based with barely any effort in the off drops, no realy melody, that may be some people's taste but personally I love this kinda off melodic happy feel to dubstep
Well said. I enjoy both melody focused and sound design focused tracks, but there has been a serious lack of melody tracks lately. This was a nice refresher.
That's what I always aim for! :D Takes longer to make, but I believe the end result is worth the time.

In most of Teminite's drops every 7th and 8th bar there is a dope jazzy fill which makes me real happy and moist. THESE ONES WERE EXTRA JAZZY.

This is nice. I like hearing stories like this where students or any other group of people are open-minded and intrigued by dubstep instead of shunning it like most others.

Billy Friesen Stormbringer is a melodic masterpiece, whilst also offering some edgy sound design. Good choice. The track is written like an action film. As for State Of Mind, it’s probably the track I would’ve chose if I was in your position. Perfect blend of bass and jazzy melodies. And that sax, oh boy. You chose well. If I wanted to introduce someone to the heavy side, I’d probably go with Rattlesnake. And State Of Mind for the melodic side.
Nate S Rattlesnake is an incredible song, for sure. In fact, I would've gone with that one, but I'm not a fan of swear words which is why I didn't, but still an awesome song. I'm actually taking Saxophone this music semester thanks to Teminite's playing in State of Mind, so I'm quite excited about that as well

Does anyone notice that most of the songs Sam make (including this one) has 3 or 4 strong beats? I don't know what they are, but they are beautiful to listen to. These beats are on Rattlesnake, Uprising, Goin' In, Standing Tall, etc. Listen to them! They're in the chorus beginning or end of it. I love his style, it's so unique. 3:37 is the 3-beat part of this one.
The second drop is insane, idk it makes me feel like full of emotions, and last time I felt this was with Lion's Den.
