So for those wondering at around 41:30, the reason they got the huge amount of runes + dragon hearts is because there is a miniboss in the area, Greyoll, and for some reason she has a bad habit of dying randomly in seamless co-op.
I'm not certain but i think it has something to do with her being unloaded by one player while being close enough to the other player for her disappearance to be detected as a death.
The build contrast is hysterical. Adrian gets sneezed on by a goblin and explodes into chunks of gore, whereas Waffle gets stepped on by a giant and gets up like "ow! That smarted somewhat"

A friend had her die in solo too, but that was an earlier patch so maybe that has been fixed.
