They are sadly only useable for making louds of SPL with the amount of mechanical noise they make from not having a pole vent.

My second sundown x15 just went out. Both times it was a manufacturer defect. Im switching to deaf bonce for sure once i get the $
sounds like you need to find a better installer and not a different woofer. Can't always blame the manufacturer when you have people that have no idea what they are doing building boxes and hooking up amps.
@@meade916 first time the magnet was dented in shipping second time the surround wasnt glued correctly and came loose. And yea I agree. Had it done by a local shop.

What clipping looks like at 10hz. No matter if it suspension limits or amp limits. When power is being applied, but the speaker isn't moving.
Yup! Great example. It spends a lot of time (comparatively) being static under load.
Indeed. Amplifier isn't causing the clipping. But the suspension limits are.

Sky high does have some nice wire. I struggled to get their 8 guage into my Rockford punch 400.4. It may be a 10 guage amp tho. But I’ve always done 8 guage in the past

I5 inches sub 4.5 inches voice coil 4ohms impedance that's a serious sub.
With such sub make sure that the box is well firm 3/4 ply I recommend whoever going to use such sub.
I won’t even have to think when I get a new box. Gately for the win.
