Sounds epic! I'm a small developer and I can tell you and your team spent a lot of time and effort on Reborn, take all the time you need! I have over 150 hours in the original parkour, so I'm a Roblox parkour fan! BTW it already looks better than a lot of Roblox games lol, looks like a game made in a major engine, like unity or unreal engine! 👍

Me being an ex-parkour player. Looking at this massive evolution in game-development is insane. Especially when comparing the playstyle and differences that'll be added to the reborn versions. Thus I am not sure if I'll return back to playing Roblox , I still find it very entertaining to see Roblox developers creating new games and making Roblox a place for the new coming gaming generation. I wish you all the luck with your new game and hopefully it'll become a bigger success than the regular Roblox Parkour.

Apoc was 1 of my fav youtubers. It's sad to see what has come of him and that he had to completely vanish from all the platforms due to how ashamed he feels by that foolish action. Tbh i quitted Roblox about 4 years now. I haven't really been up to date with everything that's happening in the community but I did come across some major issues with content creators, bugs, admin abuse and other things that somewhat ruin the Roblox reputation. It went from a warning to a ban, to literal crimes of theft, Pedophilia and literal content creators being put in jail for their actions. Idk what happened to Roblox but it is atleast not the safest place anymore.

Then I remembered all the youtubers I used to watch (including Apocryptix) so 1 day after a year or 3 I searched his name on youtube and to my surprise I saw an *exposed* video. So purely out of curiousity I watched it and got terribly disappointed. Not only you and me but alot of people loved apoc for who he is, how good he plays and how social he was. Well it is what it is innit? We just gotta move on the same way he did.

I personally only found parkour in 2022. but after playing the game for 300+ hours, I'm definitely hyped for Reborn. all of these new features sound awesome and I'm looking forward to them! Take all the time you need Hudzell! I know the more time you and your team take to work on it, the better it'll be. I'll enjoy the exploration aspect of it, I LOVE finding secret rooms and special areas only few can get to.
Parkour Reborn Idea: Dungeons can be accessed in very hard to reach locations, EXTREMELY HARD. You can have people to help you with dungeons, If one player reaches a checkpoint, a rope will be dropped for the rest to get up at a certain point before it, making it therefore easier for the others, The special thing that makes them worth it is that they have break rooms, break rooms have special vendors selling exclusive gear to dungeons, though they wont start with good loot, the farther you are in the dungeon, the more loot this will reward you. Players have 3 lives, the players who died will revive once the team reaches a new checkpoint unless they have no lifes, if that player is the last, they will not revive unless they started solo in which they will have 3 lives as normal. The special vendors can give special gear or consumables and sometimes upgrades. Some dungeons can be season exclusives and stuff. Probably not getting this added but i think it'd be cool.
just looking at the footage, Reborn looks awesome. the movement looks very, very smooth, and the map looks great too. sounds like the open world will have much more depth to its gameplay

As I just started parkour a year ago, I am shocked at how well and smooth the reborn gameplay will be. I hopefully will enjoy it as much as regular parkour itself. I hope that there will still be gears like a grappler mag rail wingsuit etc, But I don't wanna see is that the game isn't going to have much speed and I hope it stays as well as the roblox parkour game

this map looks fantastic! is the biggest tower still going to be the one that's 5 times taller than crest like people used to say? is the map going to be so big that only the top PCs will be able to play? is it focused on city architecture or futuristic one? what happened to the late parkour reborn map that some RUclipsrs used to do Gameplays on back in early/mid 2018? (like, 0NI, papa fox, apoc etc) I know it's a lot, but these are the doubts I've always had regarding the reborn map
the most exciting part about this game is gonna be the learning process honestly. learning and experiencing new things for the first time will feel like old days where you'd literally start fuming over wallclimb boosts which i now see as good memories , not bad ones.
I want to ask about performance. Is there something right now [in development phase] that is "tanking the performance"? From what I saw few years ago the map is definitely bigger, though I want to ask if the map size & or textures might affect games performance. Or, is the game running more smoothly. Something like how CS 2 is just a slightly more better looking upgrade to CS:GO but it runs just as fine. I also want to compliment the new UI. It looks good & personally I'm a fan of the minimalist style.

Judging just by the gameplay in the video, I'm already very excited for Parkour Reborn. Fluid animations and the atmosphere, similar to Mirror's Edge (which I like A LOT), just make the game top for me. Take your time, we will wait for it to release.
I think we the players play gearless starting so that you can find your playstyle earlier and will immediately know what gear to invest in so that you can easily start mastering your playstyle as soon as possible to traverse the map with confidence with your playstyle ps: this was only a suggestion not saying that you have to im just telling you what you CAN do not what you WILL do =D
He said that the current parkour is gonna be renamed to "parkour legacy", and parkour reborn is gonna be a seperate game, with completely different systems.

i'm happy reborn isn't as focused on speed as current parkour! dashing and flying around is fun sure but i missed it when parkour was more about running and doing cool strings of movement
Imagine that they make it like a metroidvania. Where you get an upgrade like hi-jump boots and then you find an area where you couldn't get to without the upgrade and then you do some parkour designed for the boots and at the end you find another shop where you buy the next upgrade.

I have a question about Reborn. If we bought any sort of gear in current parkour and if we have levels if they are in the game can we migrate the data from current parkour to reborn when it comes out?

All of these mechanics mentioned (mainly the gear upgrading and stuff like that) sounds very risky and could go badly, but also like a really good idea, time will tell.
i honestly really like it, the idea of having a skill tree for gear seems like a great way to personalize gear and encourage different playstyles, which could lead to a more diverse meta (instead of the grappler+stim combo we had in legacy)
When will mobile be added? I cant really play on computer as i dont have one and my brothers one is broken and i dont really know how to do anything on computer so all i can do is play on mobile and im really exited for this! And if this game will come out when gta 6 does(2025) will i have to wait a year for the mobile release as when i asked for someone else they said it gonna be like the last update untill reborn comes out(im only asking this again specifically to u as i do think ur the creater of parkour and reborn cuz u know so much even tho its still alpha)

i cannot explain how hyped i am for customizability in this game, i love classes and gears in games so i cant wait to see how many this game will offer along with there upgrade paths etc and i like that rather then taking a lot of boring hours to unlock on gear via level itll now take a few actually fun hours of goals and challenges to gain money, gears, find vendors, upgrade the gears slowly etc and judging by what i had to do to get the base grappler in alpha im even more excited for the full release and updates that can introduce new gears
They should add like when you are falling and trying to like climb a wall but the game detects that you are falling way to fast to grab on so it does like a cool little animation where you try to grab onto the wall but you cant

i'm happy reborn isn't as focused on speed as current parkour! dashing and flying around is fun sure but i missed it when parkour was more about running and doing cool strings of movement

Imagine that they make it like a metroidvania.
Where you get an upgrade like hi-jump boots and then you find an area where you couldn't get to without the upgrade and then you do some parkour designed for the boots and at the end you find another shop where you buy the next upgrade.

I have a question about Reborn. If we bought any sort of gear in current parkour and if we have levels if they are in the game can we migrate the data from current parkour to reborn when it comes out?
No, it's a completely different game. You'll still be able to play Parkour Legacy, so there's no data syncing xd

I don't think it will, cuz the game's gear is completely reworked. So probably you won't get those gears.
All of these mechanics mentioned (mainly the gear upgrading and stuff like that) sounds very risky and could go badly, but also like a really good idea, time will tell.
i honestly really like it, the idea of having a skill tree for gear seems like a great way to personalize gear and encourage different playstyles, which could lead to a more diverse meta (instead of the grappler+stim combo we had in legacy)
When will mobile be added? I cant really play on computer as i dont have one and my brothers one is broken and i dont really know how to do anything on computer so all i can do is play on mobile and im really exited for this! And if this game will come out when gta 6 does(2025) will i have to wait a year for the mobile release as when i asked for someone else they said it gonna be like the last update untill reborn comes out(im only asking this again specifically to u as i do think ur the creater of parkour and reborn cuz u know so much even tho its still alpha)

i cannot explain how hyped i am for customizability in this game, i love classes and gears in games so i cant wait to see how many this game will offer along with there upgrade paths etc and i like that rather then taking a lot of boring hours to unlock on gear via level itll now take a few actually fun hours of goals and challenges to gain money, gears, find vendors, upgrade the gears slowly etc and judging by what i had to do to get the base grappler in alpha im even more excited for the full release and updates that can introduce new gears
They should add like when you are falling and trying to like climb a wall but the game detects that you are falling way to fast to grab on so it does like a cool little animation where you try to grab onto the wall but you cant
