They’re in a PVP world because less people are around “exploring” the map if you will. More people congregate around the GE and as a result, the bots are less likely to be found and reported

Which bot farm was most interesting to you? I thought the LMS bots were pretty insane.
I found some bots trying to run the Pyramid Plunder mini game. I don't think they are very good because they get kicked out constantly and I've seen little piles of the loot on the ground. They seem to be drinking wine and tossing the jugs on the ground after consuming it. They have the classic all 1's in stats except for thieving.
The bot detection system heavily relies on player reports.

Apparently not when i report RC bots with pet and cape going for 3 days on end. Or entire bot farms appearing at clan wars all at once.
@Lenny69 シ pretty sure rs servers only receive the actual commands (moveTo(x,y) for example) and not the actual mouse data. Perhaps the click location but i am not sure movement is tracked, is it? Developer myself and under the impression it wasnt so im curious
@Lenny69 シ i used to bot last year myself, there is no way the bot detection can detect mouse movement enymore, its was more advanced than what it used to be, pretty much the only thing that gets the bots banned are players or if you let the bot run for a extremely long time, like over 24 hours, but you can easily bot for 10 hours a day with breaks for over a year without getting banned, i botted my main that way, got all 90s stats before i got bored, i only got a 2 day ban once and that was because a player reported me, not from the bot detection system, its garbage.
Unfinished potions done give you xp tho, they do in rs3. A whopping 1exp a pop. Unless they buy grimy herbs and clean them, then make (unf) potions. Idk.

when lms Competive changed to be free, Lms was stacked with bots to farm those items, myself played there for the maul ornate handles. I made in like 4 h 7m.
I also told an Player Mod the only thing he said: Report em.
But im sure many many gps were made out of it. At day 1 handles sold for 790k after day 6 about 430k.

I've seen the fletching bots a while ago in the GE. They were like 60-70 combat and well over 99 fletching. Stringing bows, some magic, and some yew.
also the most afk/easyest skill too 99 lowest ammount of hours any1 willl do it for afk time 15seconds -per invent

Just to clear something up: it's not just RuneLite that can turn yourself invisible, the vanilla client has the "::renderself" function.
So while they "could" be legit people, apparently these "people" know what weapon you have even if you pot trick to hide what weapon you're using, so they couldn't realistically get it right 100% of the time even with renderself/entity hider.
I have seen alot of bots at Clan Wars, they're always in full adamant Armour except for the helmet with a adamant pickaxe and they're always bald. Idk if they're mining bots or what, but it would be worth investigating
I can speak from personal experience, in 2018 i botted an account 24/7 for a couple of months stringing yew longs. Got 193m XP. Eventually got banned when i though “if it works on 1 why not 2” and within a day with the second account i got a perm ban.

SirPugger possibly, i used it at W2 GE, and it was a public script on the most popular client. So i can imagine that a good, private script. With proper break management on a remote/unexpected location (like this?) could get 200m xp. It was quite decent cash for me back then to finance my other accounts...

You're right but even when you pot trick and hide your wepeon before attacking they auto switch their pray to the correct one without seeing it.
Other ppl can still see u when u renderself
If you use runelites entity hider you can hide your character and see what people do while under them

at 8:00 just wanted to point out that you can render self on runelite which makes your character invisible and allows you to see what gear/weapon your opponent is wearing. It is allowed. It was allowed in the pvp tournament yesterday and Ayiza mentioned it.
Propably u will not see this, but i have noticed there is hundreds of bots in tai bwo wannai, with excactly same lvls (32-34cb) buying raw karambwans.
Been noticing tonnes of bots at MLM recently. All mostly level 44, but seen around 43-53 range. All seem to have done the waterfall quest and a few others for some easy levels to deter the bot detection. All have at least 100+ mining. Loads with pets. All with the prospector outfit. Some names: duix, edrtghd54, aezro, mastersd27, top 500 d va, ali kharid, ybnlxrd, the don man2. I usually frequent w520 but I hop around a lot so not just that world.
Also I noticed if you go out of your way to mine the same vein as them (which everyone should be doing on the upper level of MLM anyway), they either log out or run away to find their own vein guaranteed.

I’ve done this in the past with a different game: World of Warcraft. I had a proper set up at the time to properly handle 20 world of Warcraft accounts at once. I never attempted to do this on runescape though which would actually be much easier to set up I feel. This would allow you to manage any amount of accounts to handle the exact same task at the exact same time. Repetitively. Therefore one = how every many you please.
There's a plug in on runelite that makes your character invisible to yourself, so if you get frozen you can see the weapon switches of the player below you. That's probably how they pre-empted the prayer switches.

Yeah, and IIRC you can even do it on the normal vanilla client. You just pre-type ::renderself before the start of the LMS game and then activate it when needed. Just remember you can't see your HP bar anymore (at least without other Runelite mods), so you've got to be careful.
For the players fletching you can run runescape in a JVM, and have the mice sync allowing controlling multiple accounts, I’ve seen one person control 30 accounts at once with it so as long as everything is in the same place you could control all the accounts with no problems

Jagex is pretty good at this. I play tf2 and I can say man Valve really doesn't give a fuck. They recently fixed a problem with lagbots joining matches and crashing the game for everyone, but aside from that there hasn't been a major update in about 2 years, despite the game being top 10 most played on steam. And even though lagbots were the worst, we still have regular bots joining every 5 minutes and sniping everyone with aimbot before we can kick them. The memes are funny but I think a lot of people take the dedication they have for granted, imagine how many other games have weekly updates, a lot of companies dont care at all and their games run just fine. I hope one day all the bot problems get fixed, but until then I am very grateful for all the work they put into the game.

it is possible to sync actions. you just need to be able to run 2 instances of rs while linking mouse movements and making sure the mice are at the same location on both screens

Bandit Camp in Desert - All accounts have relatively similar names and stat distribution. Worth checking out, found while friend was doing DT. We found 2 other worlds like this
bankstanding skills don't need a script, it's easy to record yourself for a few hours doing it and putting that on a loop and it goes undetected because you can change up the original loop at any given time. the only risk in these is that any sort of pop up or camera rotation will mess it up, so babysitting is somewhat required.

@rambull Jr i downloaded mine years ago and used it to get 99 fletching/cooking but now i don't "bot" anymore. just look up mouse recorder or ghost mouse and you should fine this type of software. its still not ban free and you have to know what you're doing so try it on throwaway accs first.
Bankstanding skills can be botted using bluestacks. Anyone who creates mouse recordings and doesn't use bluestacks, WILL eventually get banned.

I think its kinda a known botting/gold farming area, but ive noticed on my ironman that there are a ton of low level accounts collecting mort myre fungus. You pretty much have to go onto a skill total world to find a free world. I dont know if they have the morytania diaries done, but if they do then they can collect about 2k fungus an/hr from what ive heard/experienced. even without the diaries, 1k fungus/hr should be possible which is around 700k/hr atm

I saw a pharaoh sceptre bot farm yesterday, it was strange. I think the person leading it was named like “09 Cadillac” or something because he logged in then a bunch of level 3s and they would just open chest in first room and leave.

There's a new bot farm at Shilo's village mining gems.
They use regular names, but most are level 30-40s, 50
If you look them up, they all have like like 35-40 herblore, 9 agility
70+ mining. One had 99 mining already.

Im still new to the game, but it does suck when mining spots like coals are overrun with bots. Wasted my hours just to switch world & get satisfied amount of coal to train a little exp of mining & smithing.

It's wild seeing these high level bots. I got an email about a password change request last week. When I tried logging in the account was perma banned for macroing. I went through support and got it unbanned, and had about 1.8mil in cannonballs and steel ingots.
There was still 3 days left of p2p, I can't remember if bonds are 2 weeks or 1 month. How'd this guy get caught so fast?
The weirdest part is I had 2fa on, and the login uses my email, not my username. My email wasn't compromised, and they never reset the password... I can't figure out how they got past 2fa and "guessed" a fairly strong password.

You should investigate and explore the huge bot farm in Tai Bwo Wannai of Addy-wearing bots buying out the Raw Karambwan and banking with trading sticks. When I was doing that for cheap karambwan for cooking training, there were at least 60+ of them across the worlds and are still there after days of reporting them.

Lunar isle used to be a good banker craft bot spot since few real people went there.

the fletching account was due to the osmultiboxer, a program that allows you to play up to 200 accounts at the same time, whilst only having to play one of them

When you have 99 herb, you can mix grimy herbs with vials of water and you get the cleaning exp

I craft nature runes and call them the king God clan of bots. They all had king/god in their name till recently, all 60-80 combat xcept rsking 112 cmbt, all use fairy rings poh 330 and 329. All got high runecrafting (usually 99) and most run 24/7. Also they link up accounts in sync very similarly. I suppose they might be gold farmers, but they run the nearly exact same path every time and never respond to me

Hey I don’t wanna go too into depth about this, but I’ve almost confirmed that bot detection methods are different on PVP worlds. I actually took an old script of mine that is guaranteed a ban if you run it (if you don’t update your scripts eventually jagex can catch on to the exact movements your specific script creates and ban them before any progress can be made). I was able to catch red chins for almost 3 months without being banned on a shitty old free script of mine on a pvp world, whereas the bots on normal worlds would be banned as quickly as 30 minutes after starting the script. I only did this experiment once so it could be a coincidence... but seeing I know for a fact my account should be banned nearly immediately after the script begins makes me believe pvp holds secrets for botters.
I’m glad I don’t play this game anymore, it’s so pointless. I’d feel so cheated as a honest player, while all these people bot and cheat.

Found a big bot farm at the end of hero’s guild mining near the fountain, was killing bats for a slayer boosting task and while down there I saw 10-15 people log in all with 10-20m mining xp and the rest of there stats were average. But they weren’t mining just would log in and 2 mins later log out

There's a small bot farm buying all the steel nails from Varrock lumbermill. They sell for 3 gp there and like 100gp on GE. Stumbled upon this when trying to get nails for a quest on my HCIM.

it actually is possible, same as when high alching, if the client lags.. the tick freezes then starts at the same time when it unfreezes.. therefore starting multiple actions at the same time. i know as i alch on 2/3 accounts at the same time.. happens very often

One thing I would say is that jagex could allow people to bypass these early game f2p restrictions if a person just enables two factor authorization with their phones. Of course jagex should decline all attempts at using goggle phone for two factor authorization.
If a bot is detected using a certain number then that number would be blacklisted. This is to prevent legit players from not being able to make multiple alt accounts but if a bot is ever detected on one of the hundreds of tens of accounts using that number then all those accounts linked to that phone can be flagged as potential bothers and then banned right away.
@7:58 I think RuneLite plugin that makes you invisible so you can see which weapon other person has on. But yeah that does not mean those were not bots :P
i thought these bot farms werent viable enough but yesterday i was on world 310 (barbarian assault) and i since i didnt had teleports on me i used lumbridge teleport and for my surprise when i entered the castle there were arround 20 to 30 bots spinning flax... i think because on that world almost no one goes to lumby... tried to report them manually but due to the numbers i just couldnt... its a sad sight to see... =( keep up the good work love your vids

For the ones at the cooking guild to be a real person they could be, multi boxing. Basically they have multiple computers or multiple windows all open but they are attached to one mouse and keyboard. So he only needs to play on one screen and all the others will do the same thing. You see people doing that in WoW where they pay for enough accounts to raid or pvp or both but they only need to play one account and all the others will follow and do all the exact same emotes, attacks, movements, etc at the exact same time. its definitely way easier to do that with runescape as you only need the mouse to play it especially if you are skilling you dont even need to move. Thats my theory anyways.
Pugger, There is a ton of bots at skeletal wyverns. Ive seen plenty of them with 50m range exp, all share nearly identical stats.
I've recently come back to runescape and I was really confused why I've barely seen any bots at the normal f2p areas.

There have been bots buying karamabwans in two bawana for over a year now. Most worlds have one or two of these bots. They make quite good profit, I would guess around 400k an hour but am not sure (ironman btw). The bots are very poorly coded and always wear addy armor. If you constantly enter and leave the room the bots are buying fish from the bot will get confused and star walking back to the banker. Its dumb... I report these bots every chance I get but they are always still there.
In regards to the fletcher, is it possible there is some sort of multiboxing software for RS? I know in WoW they have multiboxing software where you may have multiple clients running and all you have to do is play on 1 and it will mimic your actions into the other clients. Something like that could allow them to be fletching at the same time
maybe the 2 flecthingers where multi-boxen, meaning you can have around 8 account doing the same thing with just 1 mouse click
Hey sirpugger. At the corporal beast in almost every world there is a bot in a adamant platebody and a pickaxe going in and out of the cave every few minutes. Never checked them out to see what they are doing but was always curious because they make such quick trips. No way they are mining a full inventory of ore. Check it out

For rs3 I keep seeing lvl 7 combat that log unusually at cursed energy. They don't talk. Haven't seen them killed. They have very high div and bare invention reqs. They have that vacuum thing on and div Cape
8:00 no, there is a plugin where you can hide your own entity so you can see what the player underneath you is wielding
If i remember correctly Red spider eggs had high price because they got removed from NMZ rewards.
