I want to say thanks. I have the exact same water filter as you and i watched my plumber do this twice and watched your video once and it was really easy, and i am not handy at all. Took me not even 10 minutes. That black rubber ring also didn't come off of my container which was nice and was on pretty good. Thank you for the video.
couldn't see that red pressure release button, until I watched your video, then magic...thanks.
I need to do this pretty soon for the first time, so thanks for posting. I had my plumber build my filter piping to include a bypass and isolation valves in and out of the filter so hopefully that will make the whole process easy.
I bought a house about a month ago in Las Vegas and didn't even know what the hell this things was. Thanks for the great video. Ordered a few filters from Amazon today.
You're welcome!!
Just changed my wata filta! Thanks! Go bruins!
You’ve done it again!!! I really appreciate this video!
God Bless!
Thank you sir for easy to understand directions which I successfully applied today!
Thanks, this was a very useful video! You're like the neighbor I wish I had! Have a great day brother!
So nice of you to say
Thank you I have to do this for the first time after moving into my place and just hope I got the right filters off Amazon. Feel free to post a link to the ones you bought.
I believe you forgot to shut off the valve on the left by-pass...which is why water flow through filter was minimized...shutting valve on left (by-pass) will only make water go through filter only......ok...someone else caught that too seeing other comments below...(never mind) :-) Thanks for posting...I just got ours and it's same model.
Thank you. You helped me.
Looks like you need to close the valve beside the filter, the middle one. You are getting a mix of filtered and non filtered water.
yes i did I missed that when filming but closed it after posting lol
Thank you sir
Your Welcome Sir
Curious on a couple things. First, why is your shut off valve on between the in and out pipe to the filter? I would think you turn that off, but if you want to bypass the filter then you turn it on and turn the filter valve off. Also, I didn't see you lube up the oring which is recommended. Have you had to replace that? Lastly, they say to run the water for 10 minutes and then shut off, wait one hour and then do it again after a filter change. Do you do that, or have you noticed any difference in the water by not doing it? I would think it isn't necessary as your system has the filtered water in it already.
Thank you !
You're welcome!
Just to remind you to close the bypass valve.
Thanks, helped a lot.
Thanks. This was helpful.
Do you know how many GPM (Gallons Per Minute) this flows?
Thanks
Thank you sir!
Thanks
Thanks for your very helpful video!
Glad it was helpful!
Are you on city water or a well? I assume that’s a well pressure tank in the vid but thought I would ask.
Well water
How often do you replace these?
They recommend every 3 months, but i change mine every 6 months.
Replaced every 3 months
