I loved from blood and ash! It definitely does get slow for a bit but I feel like it picks back up. I think you’d enjoy The Serpent and The Wings of Night. Lightlark also has a very good twist.
There are so many summer reads coming out the next couple of months! Who else is excited for: The Housemaid book #3 by Freida McFadden, One Perfect Couple by Ruth Ware, Funny Story by Emily Henry…the list goes on & on!

I like blood and ash series. Just wish the author would finish it. But the prequel is such better!😊❤
I don’t know how anything can ever top ACOTAR for me. It makes me emotional how much I love that series and all the characters in it. I’m glad I read Fourth Wing first so I could enjoy it for what it is. But ACOTAR is my heart. As corny as it is those books have saved me. I don’t think I’d be in the place I am if I wasn’t reading those books during this very difficult time of my life.
If you enjoyed FBAA, you MUST read the prequel (Flesh and fire series), i guarantee you will love it even more!!!! It add so much new information to the original plot and the characters are even better imo.
HUGE plot twist in The Silent Patient, its a thriller- not a romantasy, but still so good

Read the Infernal Devices series by Cassandra Clare, and if you love it, then read the Last Hours series by her, too!(: she’s great at giving us the angst and plot twists and romantic drama

I LOVED the Once Upon a Broken Heart trilogy! It is YA but it is done SO WELL. I literally was surprised by every twist and the characters have so much depth! A great story that has me wanting to check out more by Stephanie Garber. If you're looking for big gasp and shock, Ninth House by Leigh Bardugo was a wild ride but pretty dark and has some triggers!

The Blood and Ash series was so great! (I actually got my husband to read them too!) You’d probably like Armentrout’s other series, Flesh and Fire. I think it might be a tad bit darker??? Definitely loved Poppy and Hawk, etc.. 😊
You need to read the serpent and the wings of night by Carissa broadbent. If you like sjm books you will love them

I’ve not read this series but the flesh and fire series which I believe is either a crossover or comes after blood and ash is really really good. I’ve also just read the bridge kingdom and the traitor queen and those two books had me hooked!! Then there’s the serpent and the wings of night duo which also had me pretty obsessed xx

The best book i've ever read is 'The Bad Girl', a novel by Mario Vargas Llosa, and I can't recommend it enough! The characters are so well-developed and relatable, and the plot is full of unexpected twists and turns. If you're a fan of novels or you are looking for a book that will keep you on the edge of your seat, this is the perfect read for you. Trust me, you won't be able to put it down! 🤗
A Shadow in the Ember by Jennifer Armentrout is fantastic. As well as the second book A Light in the Flame.
It is the story before From Blood and Ash. But I’d recommend listing to it on audible.
Seraphena is the maiden and was chosen before she was born to uphold a deal her ancestor had made. She has to honor this deal in order to save her people. Part of that deal is to be the consort to the Primal of Death.
Check out the series, look up the reviews but it’s an addicting series. Audible is the way to go for this one.
Also, Powerless from Lauren Robert’s is great too.

i bought the essence pretty peach blush last week and i loveeee it as a topper for any matte blush (tysm) but then I saw they had one called rosy rosewood and ofc i had to get it because pretty little liars and oh my god- it's my perfect natural flushed cheeks with any makeup look or minimal (just spf,tint and lip liner) looks. LOVEEEEE!!! 😇
Kathleen!! So happy that you're loving FBAA!! I highly recommend looking up Jennifer Armtentraut's reading order to incorporate the prequel series - in my opinion (and a lot of others) the prequel series is even better, even though I love FBAA!

i just started From Blood and Ash 😭 i was thinking the same thing, the characters and world building is so amazing
Blood and Ash series is definitely better than it seems- The more other books I read, the better they end up being. Definitely would agree it goes down hill after book 3 (mostly just book 4 wasn’t good to me) but the world building definitely picks up as they go on, and book 5 is basically just book 1 from Hawkes POV and a bit new info thrown in which people don’t like, but it was interesting to see the other side of things.
