We have enough stages first of all and second it’s almost identical to smashville so you need to ban 2 stages if you wanted to ban smashville which is absolutely stupid

The problem with buffs is that instead of buffing his weaknesses they buff his strengths even more which makes people camp him more. It's not so fun when there is money of the fine for the prod and have to fight against a character THAT dynamic

@@MajorasWrath1 well, Mac is designed to be a glass cannon. His strengths are good and you can get a lot off of them, but his weaknesses are terrible. While yea, Peanut did a fantastic job recovering with Mac, Mac is limited in his abilities to recover, as most of the time you recover, you're gonna go through all of your recovery moves. And because he's a literal human Boxer, he's not very disjointed. Sure, he's strong and fast as hell, but Mac will be waiting a lot more in matches than most other fighters on the roster. All these buffs really do is make it so Mac players are rewarded for being able to land those hits, which is a very good thing

@@Pakitorocker I disagree. If you buffed every low tier to fix what makes them a low tier, you'd end up with a cast of very similar characters with very similar weaknesses. I think this approach is much more adequate. You buff the things that make them good while keeping their weaknesses, making them very distinct but still somewhat good at whay they do.

That was exciting to see. I love watching Peanut play. It was cool for the 3rd game when he was on his last stock and was just like "Well, time to go to hard" and was almost coming back. Both players did amazing.
Still have no idea why so many competitive players completely refuse Sora's up (except for recovery) and side specials. They also don't utilise their off-stage attacking potential which is one of his greatest strengths due to his great recovery.

I have a very rousing suspicion that with the motion of the stage and the color scene, the skin option wasn’t exactly random. While castle is up the character colors could play some part in confusing the other party etc
I think Peanut might be my favorite player to watch. His spacing and timing is just so immaculate, he really embodies the boxing mentality. And he makes little mac's recovery look decent.
What a legend Peanut is, you would think Sora would destroy Mac because he can just go so hard edgeguarding but Peanut just built different and doesn’t let that happen.
I feel like the Mac buffs were significant enough that his playstyle is going to be slightly altered going forward. Peanut played well, but he was still playing as if it were pre-patch Mac overall. That's why he lost imo.

"Little Mac downward angled forward smash does almost twice as much damage to your shield" not true in the slightest, it now went from just not breaking shield in one hit (uncharged) to barely not breaking shield. It did not need that buff
actually it does do almost twice as much damage, it used to do 4 to shield and now it does 7, I also thought it was ridiculous that a fully charged smash doesn't break shields it definitely should

Mac's recovery isn't particularly bad, it has a lot of distance...it's just really exploitable.

All Sakurai needs to do is make Little Mac use Jolt Haymaker again after getting hit out of it and he'll finally be a decently viable character.
