A subject near and dear to my heart as someone who experienced it. Internalized homophobia is a horrific battle experienced by many gay people. Here is how this real life experience is shown in fictional media and how Luka’s storyline might give us an idea on where Mike is going.

the fact that eyewitness was something the duffers used as reference for the show and the rain fight in both shows is so similar 😊and the guys in eyewitness get together... after the closeted guy with internalized homophobia dumps his gf who was his "beard" aka el in ST because he never really loved her
