The E40OM sounds a cut above the E20OM-TC and the straight E20OMs I’ve heard in other videos. So apparently there are differences besides the bling. Stronger, clearer, more consistent sound and more playable. Do other people hear the same things?
The 40 uses AAA grade adi and the guitar is hand-voiced by Eastman's most experienced luthiers so in addition to the bling, there is more crafting under the hood. But lets face it, all Eastman's are hand-crafted and amazing value. Can't go wrong with any of them.
Why is it that I keep coming back for thises videos? Your good looks? Nope. Reasonable playing? Probably, Humour? Yes, there is a U in Humour, Definitely. Great presentations and if you were in Canada , would order one, maybe 2 of these guitars. The 40 gave me chills. Why am I here again?
Every time I go to your website via the link you have in the description, there is never an Eastman. Seems like the only brand on your site is Maston guitars
To me the cooked top immediately struck me as sounding better, which is good as I have my E20D TC MR ordered already! 😃😃 Thanks for demo.
I have a E10 00 and an E10 OM-Ltd both Mahogany and both loved. The rosewood is now on my list. Thanks.
I got one E20OM-TC and I never had such joy in anything else I own. I just can't put it down. Thanks eastman!
You can tell he digs the 40 more and I can hear and see why...WOW...
Both sound great!
The 40 wins it got my headphones on and they are miles apart.

I think so too. The 40 sounds like it wants to be my next guitar,
I just played one and was shocked. I just sold a Martin OM-28 (2018) that wasn't NEAR this one.
Just received my e40om, my goodness! For the guitar that you will get for a portion of a Martin!

could you compare a e20 om tc and e8om tc?
Eastman rocks ❤.
I think the difference is mainly due to torrefied top : e20 tc sounds dryer and woody, whereas e40 has more overtone.
I like the torrified sound - it really does seem to make a difference

Which OM Rosewood model would be the cheapest in their range? Sadly these 2 are out of my budget.
Are the strings the same on both? This was a great demo in any case, by the way.

Gotta love the 'David Brent-ness' touch in the reviews 👍
Doesn't look like you carry these anymore?
Is it just me or does the e40 have more projection and depth than the e20???
Sure, its not you. I own both, the e40 is just sweeter on the warm tonality as well as louder, but I love both. I wouldn't sell either one.
Hard to beat for the $$$
I have both and the E40 is much sweeter sounding.
I prefer the cheaper, sorry less expensive, 20.
This video told me nothing lol
