Marlo was brilliant! I would modify this slightly by using the TEN OF HEARTS as the 'Prediction'. This way you can reveal by turning over the box; in modern Bicycle Decks the Ten of Hearts is printed on the box.

Hi Tom, amazing trick! I reslly want to learn this one, but i got one potential issue: If i want to this trick in my languague, Dutch, canninstill perform it? Because the Numbers are spelt differently so as the spades,hearts, diamonds and clubs

Ik heb geen flauw idee of je nog met kaarttrucs bezig bent en of je aan mijn antwoord nog iets hebt, maar dit is mijn uitleg. Aangezien de cijfers in deze truc alleen gebruikt worden om bij je "prediction" te komen, maakt het niet uit in welke taal je het doet. Het enige wat je moet doen is in je hoofd hebben hoeveel letters de soorten en de cijfers in het Nederlands hebben. Bijvoorbeeld voor de 4 soorten: harten en ruiten hebben 6 letters en klaveren en schoppen 8 letters. Wat je dan kan doen is ipv de "-s" van "hearts, spades.." nu de "-en" weglaten, waardoor je bijvoorbeeld voor een hart en een ruit dan 4 letters telt. Zo ga je ook te werk voor de cijfers. You can “cheat” more by using cards from other piles. For example, you find an 8 on the pile to the left of your “predicted card pile” and apply it, therefore applying the countdown to the right pile every time

A very nice addition to this trick is to smoothly slide the prediction card in the spectator’s pocket, it makes the reveal effect a whole lot better!
