Very very helpful. Thank you so much for taking the time and making the video. It helped me a lot. Between the book and you I got it. Again thank you for your kindness and your video
I am not an avid nor experienced quilter. I love piecing best of all. Since I cannot afford to have someone do my quilting I do it myself. Not often enough because every time I want to quilt, I know where to find your video so I’ll put the quilt and batting on correctly. Your video is very helpful and well done in my book. Thanks a million.
Thank you for posting these videos. I bought the Grace Pinnacle from a quilt shop that was moving and did'nt get any instrution on how to use it.This video was so helpful. Please continue to make more. Diane P.
I. Just got my first long arm and I have no idea how to load it.please help. I am one of the hand on person. I just need to learn to it and I would thanks a million.
For some reason my husband's pic comes up , but I want to thank you so much! I bought my Grace frame 2 years ago and have never used it. I think I now can. Judy Shapiro
The whole reason for leaders is that it allows you to attach your quilt to the frame. You have to have extra fabric to allow you to quilt all the way to the end of your quilt. Your top and back will need to be longer. Easier to get leaders. Here is the link: kathyquilts.com/grace-company-precision-cloth-leaders They are expensive but then so it quilting fabric so you save money in the long run.
The music that starts the video is way louder than the rest of the video. I turned it off right away twice but finally just turned off the volume until Kathy began. Thanks to Kathy for the information. It would be easier to catch which way is the right side, as in the backing in this video, if the fabric had a right and wrong side that was visible to the camera.
@hotwireman49 You can get a general idea of the sizes of your leaders from your owners manual. It isn't hard to make the leaders but you don't want to make them out of a loose weave material like Muslin. To make it easier we make leaders that start at $45 a set. The cost depends upon which frame you have and what size you have it set up at. Visit KathyQuilts on the web.
Any chance the double sided tape used for the continuum frame is available? We moved overseas with that and the Block RockIt. We reassembled it but the tape doesn’t hold up with the temperatures in the shipping containers. We need to replace all. We will search here in the Philippines but likely will need to modify something to get it as close to original. Better if we can get original if possible. Please let us know. We are willing to pay for parts and postage. Postage will likely be more than the cost of the part. 10 foot frame. Thanks
We have found that Gaffer Tape we find on Amazon works the best. It should work no matter the climate. They should have the equivalent to Gaffer Tape in the Philippines. Thanks, Lynn
It's a good instructional video, however, I couldn't understand everything you said. I think it would be easier to hear everything you're trying to teach us if you could speak directly into the microphone, or at least face it, rather than having your face turned away from the mic. Thanks for the video...I like the way you attached the top to the batt and backing.
I noticed you posted about the EZ3 hand quilting frame on a video about loading a quilt on a machine quilting frame. I have one too, and Kathy has used it for several quilts. It’s a great frame if you know how to use it. Sometimes, things can be tricky to figure out at first, but with a little practice, you’ll get the hang of it. Sorry to hear you had a bad experience.
Thank you, Kathy. You’re so helpful in getting me up and running faster!❤

We have a new video that also shows how to load a quilt on a frame that shows it on a Continuum frame: ruclips.net/video/ie4vqN5G15c/видео.html

This video is very very good.
Hi Kathy, great video, huge thank-you. I don't have leaders. Can I load my quilt w/o them?

Very helpful, thank you.
I want to make my own leaders. Seems there are three different widths needed for each of the three rollers (x their length). How wide should they be?

Is this the same way you would put all the quilt fabric on any quilter.

I think the video is very helpful. Thanks!
