Parkour: The art of getting from point A to Point B in the fastest way possible so climbing and jumping over stuff is parkour and parkour can include flips but rarely does
Freerunning: Extreme parkour based on style and points, so flips and twists is freerunning.
I should know because i do both, soirry to break it to ya but you are wrong. search up "Parkour" and/or "frunning" And you will see videos like this. Never do something your not ready for, or that you feel unsure about, take it easy, progression will come as long as you are patient ^_^
