The first ones with Nightingale and the Cynthia Weaver ones stand out to me. They aren't there just for jumpscares sake, they actually serve a purpose in the story.
it was my personal GOTY 2023, and while the gameplay and execution was great, it was the story and content and emotional connection i had. LOVED AW2, made me go back and play Control after lol
They were pretty cool, but at times did feel a bit repetitive. I think at the nursing home section it got pretty old after a while, but I see it's intended purpose. Being able to see the face of who was causing that particular scare is great, having that aspect of knowledge is chilling!
I know this is from 2 months ago but I wanted to potentially provide some closure, I know the nursing home section felt repetitive and sometimes annoying for a lot of people, and it was, but it was definitely an intended purpose. I thought that It was to keep you consistently on edge and on your toes, and not really allowing you to let go of that near danger feeling, being so far into the game you start to expect more and by constantly delivering the pre-delivery punchline without the climax so many times, that knowingness starts to dissipate and allows more space for that fresh "I don't know when it's going to hit the fan again' feeling because you genuinely start to not know whether it's going to be another flash or something actual
They'd always appear when you'd least expected it to (would make my high blood pressure go up for a sec😂) this game was phenomenal! The team at remedy nailed every centimeter with Alan Wake 2 thank you remedy entertainment! Love you guys! Hopefully one day you could give us a part 3 that would be sick! The train station and room 664 were my favorite levels so sinister and loved how they referenced the station to max paynes Roscoe Street station even used the same benches that really hit home for me I was kid when I played it in 2001 I'm 30 now so I'm glad I've lived this long to be apart of this also on a side note LOVED all the max Payne references throughout the game glad James made it to voice Alex casey (basically max Payne with a changed name) RIP James McCaffrey 🙏🕊️ he will always live on throughout my life and replaying max payne 1 & 2 on my PS2 it saddens me remedy was going to remake both those titles but with James gone idk about that 😔 maybe they still have his voice files they can just mix and remaster to use because I will pay anything for those pre order max Payne remakes! Please remedy come through with it. It would make us long time fans and James proud
Got me every single time on my first and second playthrough, by the third I wish I had an option to turn them off as it had gotten old by that point, overall a very original way to jump scare the player, and one that I’m not totally against!
It's nice at the beginning with Nightingale, because you could see Alan as an antagonist, after that is very repetitive and lacks purpose to be honest, just cheap, disposable jumpscare when compared with the mental place jumpscare, for example. One is well built, the other is just copy and paste 30x.
The jumpsacers were all so on point. The one in the nursing home was the worst by far tho.
**Cynthia Weaver upon yee**
The first time I see a person who likes jumpscares
I flinched to every single one of them lmao. They're great additions to the game
The chapter of Cynthia Weaver almost gave me a heart attack.
The jumpscare in the Mind Place was diabolical.
Alan wake 2 is by far the best game I've ever played

Some of them got me even on my fourth playthrough :D Amazing atmosphere!

Night Springs PC Wallpaper 🔥🔥
The nursing home jumpscare got me the most 😂
You bastards ruined me with the Valhalla nursing jumpscares
I love it
Some of the jumpscares made me jump. This game is the game of the century

Didn't they add that option in an update?
@@doomedspacemarine96 possibly I didn’t check the settings when playing the dlc recently!
I said some VERY uncharitable things about Cynthia Weaver. I can only hit the ceiling so many times...
i’ve played through this game at least 6 times, this part ALWAYS gets me. i tend to forget about it 😭
I’m a little under halfway through the game and it still gets me every damn time
The one that is at the well when the blood is in it made me jump
Nightmare dificulty right now and doing pretty well in Return 3
I might have played wrong. I played on livingroom tv, lights on, no headphones, so I only got one jumpscare but 6/5 would recommend this game.
Love this game
I did a short two week long internship that’s mandatory to all students here in Finland at Remedy, and even then holy crap the game was so scary😅
Cynthia Weaver was scary asf
Everything about alan wake is masterpiece
Anybody get a visual on what the icons on the computer are? Any easter eggs?
I know it is coming and still get jump scared 💀 but the game is amazing!
constant jumpscares of a certain ol' lady are worse...
Every time lol my friends love watching me play because instead of gasping or screaming I blurt out nonsense gibberish lmao
A couple of them definitely got me. 😂
I'm so mad and sad you guys didn't make this for PS4.
I'd love to be able to tell you what I think lol
Heart Beat ⬆️⬆️⬆️
❤❤❤
I see the Steam icon
🤔
That scared the shit outta me the first time and my mom gave me shit for it lol so i made her play the game x'D
Hahah

remedy does not have a remedy for jumpscares
Люблю Alan Wake 2. Слава Укрїні і Remedy 🫡
Я с тобой согласен. Я тоже люблю игры Remedy entertainment.
you are making me look bad in front of Saga bro ..............................................................
where is max payne remake guys?
2026. If it needs time, let that be so.
🫣👀😬
The wallpaper pc's looks l'île the red room in Twin peaks. Second dlc teasers?
Ma che cazzo?! 😂
Так воно і було
Stop making saves in stupid parts of the game!
I kid you not, I must’ve spent 30 min trying to find the way to continue and the subway was it 😭 I never felt so dumb 🥲
