Hats off to you for taking that job. I no longer take Land Rover jobs. They are made out of shit and other things go wrong as you’re working on them. Well done
I think this video could had been made shorter by just summarising the initial scanning part. Would be good to keep your videos not longer than 20 mins. Nonetheless, thanks for providing all the info. Thnx
Brilliant work as always Luis, its a shame an access panel couldnt have been cut in the boot area/above the module to make access and removal easier. Thank you for all your hard working in bringing this video to us. Kind regards Jay ☺️
😊 Whoever designs these cars, don't think they ever need to repair them, so they don't really think of that, or really care...😅 Thanks for watching and for your comment! 👍👍👍
Using longer bolts into the subframe holes gets you more drop without much hassle - add 2, lower it using the other 2 originals, then add the other 2 longer ones - use a jack to do the controlled lowering. Keeps it easy but with more room to work. You can then just jack it back up & fit the original bolts without struggling. Toyota Avensis is much the same pita to get at the handbrake unit. Same trick works on those too - longer bolts.
😊 Good plan... I never thought of that, but even if I did, I wouldn't be able to do it, as I don't have bolts that long...😋 Thank you for watching and for the suggestion! 👍👍👍
Will be doing mine shortly. I was going to drop the subframe completely but rather not. Just a case of longer bolts and that’s it? Nothing else to remove?
@@86andyw dropping the subframe completely brings the pain of lining/lifting it back up - longer bolts does away with that effort, makes it much easier to handle. Subframes heavy...
oh you brave man and good morning Luis i think the v8 diesel is 4.4 cars getting to smart my handbrake comes on when i take seatbelt off open door or sty in one place on hill assist for a set time and car knows when you drive it put handbrake off on its own never need to touch the handbrake switch
OMG what awful labor of work Just to obtain a module !!! Great job, yes you're stubborn !! Great for you !! Kudoz for landrover for making our job VERY EASY !!! Cheers
Admiro a tua coragem para te meters num trabalho destes em casa 👏👏 Tens que pensar em investir num daqueles conjuntos de quick jacks. Abraço de Portugal, bom fim de semana!
