“Garage sell at the game store”
Walk in see a Pokémon pin, “$80” lol
Might have the figure out the cost, but 4 PS2 games for roughly $50? Ace Combat 4 or 5, Final Fantasy 10, Metal Gear Solid 2 or 3, and Virtual Fighter 4. That's a hard assortment to beat.
The Warriors is a really cool PlayStation 2 game.
Over $50 complete
Motor Mayhem for the PS2 is a highly overlooked gem. Endless entertainment. Also cant go wrong with games GTA and Twisted Metal Black
"Kinda hot in these rhinos" is my go to line when I need to crank up the AC in my car.
My picks for 50 bucks...Tekken 4, Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3, Ratchet & Clank Up Your Arsenal, Kingdom Hearts. Honorable mention though would be Katamari Damacy
N64's Zelda: Majora's Mask... that's all I'll need.
Nice SPOT for the 7 foot Mario...
Id have to go with Jak, Sly Cooper, Kingdom hearts. Might even just get the full series depending on prices
Those pins are awesome! Also for PS2 games I would pick Mortal Kombat Armageddon, Twisted Metal Black, The Mark of Kri, and ATV Off-road Fury 2!
X-Men Legends is a fun one on PS2 and Burnout. Also GS should really be figuring what's legit when they take that stuff in, it's unacceptable that fakes are making it into their inventory wtf. Either they have staff who don't know/don't care or just aren't doing their due diligence. I'd take it up with the head office.
You'd be surprised how many of these companies do this. I tried to buy pokemon from stock x a couple times. I got a fake 800 dollar booster box once that was so fake a blind kid could of seen how fake it was. Also I order a pokemon center edition etb, which says pokemon center on it in giant letters, I get the etb and it's not the pokemon center edition. I wouldn't buy shoes from them now, the people they have verifying items have to be a group of blind monkeys.
Vagrant Story!! I have wanted a remake / remaster of that game for like ever
Shadow of the Colossus is a must, Vice City, Twisted Metal Black, and Tony Hawk's Underground 2.
100% agree. It's crazy how vastly different people's game preferences can be
Twisted Metal: Small Brawl would be my pick for the 50 buck challenge on PS2!
My favorite budget title for the PS2 has to be A Bard's Tale. It plays a lot like Baldur's Gate Dark Alliance 1 and 2 but is insanely hilarious. I'm so surprised how cheap it is. It's such a good game!
PS 2 games are awesome, but I was very young in the early 2000's. My older brother gifted his PS 2 games and console, I got the opportunity to play the original GTA 3, GTA Vice City, the original Final Fantasy X duo and Crash Bandicoot trilogy. I'm impressed the quality of the games in the old days, it's a lot of fun. Play to unlock and fun. By the time I become an adult in 2019, well it's unfortunate I am growing up with the most boring era of video gaming, too many online only games and paywalls.
I did missed out as an adult the golden age of video games, but just in time as a young teenager.
My dad and grandpa worked on that planet Hollywood in Nashville would love to have that mug to give to my dad. I got to go in it before it was finished and got to see some of the stuff they had in it.
You can do a garage sale in the parking lot in front of or behind your store.
7:39 “oh, my LORD…” 😂💀☠️
I’m just casually strolling at 5am and holy Mario ! I found my favorite gaming store RUclips channel. Ever since I moved to Conway you guys have been a huge help in restoring my N64 collection thanks a lot ! I’m definitely planning to buy some more classics soon.
Metal Gear Solid 2, Gran Turismo 3, God of War, Devil May Cry and Beyond Good and Evil
My number 1 cheap RPG for PS2 is Dragon Quest 8 Journey Of The Cursed King. It’s a masterpiece with very little to complain about. Also available on the 3DS which I enjoy even more but very expensive on the handheld.
I feel like when people think PS2, they think of the big ones that came out for that system specifically. Your Jak and Daxter, Sly Cooper, Kingdom Hearts, Final Fantasy X, God of War, Devil May Cry. And those are all well and good.
But my favorite games for PS2 are ones that were brought out on different systems, but the PS2 versions were somehow the best.
Best example that comes to mind is the Wii game "Silent Hill: Shattered Memories", which ported to PS2 and PSP. And PS2 somehow feels like the definitive version. It was ahead of it's time with adaptive gameplay based around a psych evaluation you take throughout the game. Something I don't think we would see again until PS4's "Until Dawn".
"Def Jam: Fight for New York" was a choose your own adventure fighting game, which I haven't seen before or since in the same way.
And "Need for Speed: Most Wanted Black Edition" was so good it got a reboot along with PSX's "Need For Speed: Hot Pursuit", which I definitely got down on back in the day.
50 bucks for all that is insane, considering original cost, and prices for retro in general. DONT SLEEP ON THESE OTHER CONSOLES!!
I spotted in that leather PlayStation case The Legacy of Kane which was my all-time favorite not even just PlayStation 2 game, but was my favorite game on console of all time…
Ps2 budget picks. Hmmm
Tony hawk pro skater 4
Sly Cooper 2
Ctr and mortal komat (any of that era)
Good variety I think, but I like everyone else's picks I've read too.
It might be in the $50 to $60 price range but top 3 choices would be “The Warriors”, “Killswitch”, and the last one is either “The Simpsons Hit & Run or Tekken 4 🔥
i have a few old RPGs for the PS2, when i was younger i was a heavy RPGer, you had Xenosaga 1 2 and 3, and Star Ocean Till The End of Time. I still have all of them in a CD case.
Sly Cooper And The Thievius Raccoonus was my favorite PS2 game.
Not sure if it’s the same ones but that bag of buttons may have been the ones that a fan of the channel gave you at a convention. He said his dad worked at Walmart and he used to bring home all of the promo buttons from there. It was in a video on your other channel from maybe 3 years ago.
I'd have to pick Chaos Legion. Great gem.
Dark Cloud 2. Might be my all time favorite PS2 game besides FFX.
Agreed. Pretty much just left the same comment, then scrolled down to see yours. 😂
As a previous Gamestop employee I can say that Gamesstop isn't trying to cheat people out on retro games. What happens is that the one week old employee is behind the counter when someone comes in to trade in their old games and the employee doesn't know any better, next thing you know it's back in circulation pretending to be the real thing. Some employees simply don't know real from fake, it's just a job to them.
whats yoru percentage on purchases cause i have 1200 nes games, 180 CIB ( maybe 30 missing manuals ) i had alot more stuff but i been getting rid of it, sold my genesis collection, neo geo pocket, etc
I don't know what's more perplexing, the fact that you allegedly have this many games or the fact that you would have acquired this many without cognitive understanding of how to properly resell them. Assuming all are unique, you have 90% of the entire complete nes library. Just use the one place that everyone goes to lol some big collector will pick it up in a heartbeat. These guys didn't even see your comment.
@@redeyeskuriboh2839 reselling was never my thing. i kept everything as a kid. i d9nt need it no more. just taking up space at thid point. besided nes i have 3 storages full of games and tired of paying monthly fees with the rent increasing. maybe i should sell to dk oldies and call it a day. if you think money is what i care about your totally wrong. im grown now and i can now say i can let go of these games
@@redeyeskuriboh2839 its ok, ill just sell to DK oldies , i don thave time for people to cherry pick my titles
@@redeyeskuriboh2839 why you keep deleting my comments ? lmao
Garage sale is an great idea to get rid of smalls and loose things. Sounds like it could be a fun day.
If someone was wanting to buy that whole bin of cheap title cartiages of games, what would you take for it?
I love gettin' stoned and watching your show
What’s the story with the face tampon?
He definitely took the shot.
@@DarkPsyence From the top of the cageee JR
I remember that Xenogrears dvd from when i worked at eb games years ago. It was a preorder bonus.
Isn’t WhatNot the perform platform for a “garage sale”? Feel like you’d get more eyes there then a garage sale and easy shipping those type of items.
Heck if nothing else he could put those common games up first to help lower the shipping of the people buying
Shadow of the Colossus! Easily one of the all time PS2 greats and pretty cheap nowadays
That OG Persona 4 is very nice!
Tenchu: Wrath of heaven and Onimusha: Dawn of Dreams are cool games to play on ps2
Give me any 3 SEGA Saturn games, and I'll be good.
My favourite PS1 game was " Oddworld: Abe's Oddysee " . never heard it mentioned on any RUclips retro channel so far .
Gotta have a version of tekken, gta and resident evil for a good ps2 collection. Those 4 games are still really good picks though.
Seen the large Pokémon buttons and that instantly took me back to that time frame same with sonic the hedgehog tshirt. I remember when the first show came out for sonic. I always forget about the sonic the headhog comics from back in the day so i always tend on forgetting bout them. But i do have a few of them but would like to have all of them in my hands.
Have to figure out more creative way to tie in the fitness, everytime you get a pokemon trade in or something pokemon happens 10 pushups, stuff like that so the side quest is fully integrated to main story
Love the drumset, i only have the drumsticks and some sort of paddle controller that came with it
>picks up E.T.
"Look at that scarry monster."
I never thought I'd live in a time where a person didn't immediately recognize E.T.
I have spent crazy hours on San Andreas on PS2. But, the library that system has is just insane
GameStop has had some incredible deals the last few months. Of course I’m talking modern games.
Technically it would be the associates at GameStop because they take the games in for trade when they should have papers behind the register that show real vs fake as well as with the training
Love me some Breath of Fire 3 & 4. Capcom really needs to realize a collection for that series.
Also they didn't really talk about it but that Orphen game on PS2 is one of the strangest games I've ever played. I don't even know how to describe it. That was a game I purchased cause the cover art looked cool
I will be there on the 19th with some badass trade stuff. Can’t wait!!! 😃
My friend at GameStop said most of the time employees are stupid and don't check to see if Game Boy games are legit (they are trained to)
Same happened to me with the pokemon games bought red, emerald, and crystal from a GameStop store by me the guy said he just got them in. ended up red and crystal were legit but emerald was fake I had to show him what to look out for and he said he wished they never started retro again.
Ugh....that guy is seriously putting the disks on the table like that. That's like the worst thing you could do as an employee of a video game store.
@@DerekL2005wah wah cry about it
At least he is the owner and not employee 👌🏼
Only if he slides them around like that is it bad. And have some level of respect and call people by their name
They're probably scratched and haven't been resurfaced yet.
A lot of retro resalers have disc resurfacers that only cost a few cents per disc to run and a lot or peolle will put the disc through them for few seconds before testing them just to polish them up even if they aren't scratched.
@@DerekL2005 quiet down virgin. Go practice kissing with your dad again
What was uber wrong with the mario 64 label and pins? Also, the masked guy scratching the discs together as he put each one down label side up was tough to watch.
Dude is masked up and probably quadruple vaxxed. We can't expect much from him anymore. He's cattle.
I’m subscribed! Hey Rick, let me know when you are planning to visit Atlanta! I have an arcade in my home that would be perfect for a video. We met in SC last year.
Yo Retro! I gave you those pins in that baggie at Retro Pelouze a couple of years ago.
I can hear Diddykong racing in the background I have put in so many hours as a kid when I get board that tune pops in my head like an internal loading or buffer
Does GS exchange them ? follow up.
I hope that when you say garage sale, you mean that you will sell stuff really cheap, or else it would just be the store prices
so is saying chunk instead of chuck a southern thing?
that warioware badge is sweet!
Use those fake games and show your employees the difference between real and fake so they know if you haven’t done that already
I've been reselling over here near Pittsburgh for 2 years now, longtime follower rare commenter. Keep up the great work!
Devil Kings is the US version of the first Sengoku Basara series. It's basically Samurai Warriors but more anime. That and Sengoku Basara 3 are the only ones we got in America.
I purchased that Breath of Fire 3 a couple of days before this video was posted. I bought it along with Xenosaga.
I once bought Residnet Evil &0 on the switch directly from GameStop. Didn’t realize it wasn’t even a cartridge. But codes. And the codes were event valid 😡
If you guys haven't played I-Ninja, get to it asap! Amazing PS2 title. A true hidden gem, it goes for around 20 dollars.
What's about the original Tales of Destiny on Playstation 1? What it a good game or not?
If I had a small budget for buying PS2 games Jak and Daxter 1 great choice, Medal of Honor Frontline is another, Smackdown vs Raw 2006 solid title, and X-Men Legends would round it out.
For longevity and amazing graphics I would pick Burnout 2 for the PS2. Its never mentioned by anyone. I like lots of other games but I can't think of their prices off my head. I like the Onimusha series, Ico, Code Veronica, RE4. Thats my 5, might be over 50 bucks though.
Tony Hawks 3, kingdom hearts, dark cloud 1 or 2, tekken, maybe devil may cry .. second picks, dynasty warriors 3, katamari, onimusha, god of war, spiderman 2
Make a bin $1 for random things at the garage sale and $3 as well
What's the X-men box on the counter?
This would be my pick on $50: Burnout revenge, monster lab, pacman world 2, kingdom hearts, 007 nightfire.
Get some Damprid for that unit just a recommendation
People paying $300 for rockband drums better be buying it for the collectors appeal, because $300 will get you a decent real e-kit that you can use directly with CH or YARG
FFX, Ratchet and Clank, Gran Turismo, and Katamari Damacy.
What Ash is that?
Champions of Norrath i love this game and is sequal you can import your save to the next game
How much for the ash figure?
The stamps on the pokemon games arent full proof. Also I can't believe you picked up FFX and said its a must have lol
Idk what that GameCube Smash Melee poster/giant box was but I want it!!
2:43 those old 80s toys worth 70 dollar?! I just thinking about because that, how much will worth todays toys 40 years later.
Might just be the anime nerd in me but I would had grabbed some mobile suit Gundam games. There was a lot released in the early 2000s both in English and Japanese that were good and some that players slept on that are now worth money and makes me regret never picking up more then one copy lol like MS saga. That game sealed isn't cheap anymore and is such a fun game even for people not into gundam
All video game stores will have to start scamming people to get by. Game prices are dropping and the demand is dropping dramatically
F for Joah. We barely knew you yet your button drop made so many take off their headphones.
Why is he wearing a mask all the time
Not PS2 but video game hot take Crash Team Racing on the PS1 better than Mario Kart on N64. Adventure mode gives it the edge. Especially for solo playing!
Suidoken 3 and Wild Arms 5 made me smile.
gradius V on the ps2 was amazing
I used to work at gamestop, we used to get pokemon prism all the time
Ps2. Grand theft auto 3, metal gear 3, any baseball or football game and dave mirra bmx.
I hope you are opening those carts and checking the boards instead of just relying on stickers for authenticity.
I need that real monsters frisbee in my collection!
I dont trust GameStop at all since they started collecting retro games and consoles.
Nice workout segment. Any advice for someone (me) who is suffering from a knee injury. What is good to strength the areas around your knee and leg.
Please don't tell me you're authentication method for GB Pokémon games is seriously the Nintendo seal? 🤦♂️
Gotta love youtube. They unsubscribed me. Just resubbed
Multitap + Alien Hominid = friendships tested. Though the actual game is fun; The PDA Mini Game occupided my firends summers.
