Hi to everyone. The version "D" of this model kit is wrong. It's a "Fuerza Aérea Venezolana" , Venezuelan Air Force, airplane. Venezuela never flew this kind of airplane, so this is incorrect. The only british aircraft Venezuela had were De Havilland Vampire, De Havilland Venom and E.E. Canberra.
As I’m coming back into the hobby from years ago, I’m also a bit vexed with dense “destructions” for current standards of 1/48 cockpits and engine bays. 😅
Xtradecal X48072 includes a set for an Ark Royal 1940 Fulmar. I have the Special Hobby MkI/II "Over the Med. & Indian Ocean" version. This includes a version from the Illustrious with the oddest camo I've seen so far; Grey/Slate Grey top & top half of sides, Sky undersides, bottom half of side and spinner/front of nose, wing undersides black one side, white the other. green mottling on the sky sides, nose & spinner, leading edges of the wings have a sand base with brown and green wavy lines. The Trumpeter one looks a good kit, but the lack of info about the decal options is always annoying. Have you finished the Gladiator yet?
Hi John. Sounds like they were using up the left over tins of paint. Gladiator is nearly done, but on hold for some decals. Doing the Gannet at the moment.
This looks a really nice representation of the Fulmar in 1/48. The only other option is of course, Special Hobby's. A nice kit but more challenging for those with not too much experience. This kit, being Trumpeter, should go together with little fuss. (Just hope that they did their homework). No doubt the rivet counters will be lining up to have their thruppence worth. Look forward to your build.👍 They need to do a Barracuda now.😊
Just ordered this kit after watching your review, thank you for sharing.
Excellent review of a gorgeous model. Thank you!
Lot of Faireys on yoyr christmas tree Baz🤣🤣
Thank you for this review.

Wow! That's quite a mistake! Thanks for sharing.
Great kit , but no colour call out for the interior ! :(

Just a bit odd that they cram all the cockpit into one section, then space the rest out. Ah well, I'm sure it'll be fine.
Thanx for sharing! Was really ciurious about those new trumpeter, and it looks they lift the quality up.
Seems like it. I've never done an older one, just read they could be a bit inaccurate.
I liked the part when you sucked snot!
Bit cold in the craft room.
fairey fulmar? never heard of this one

Sorry, you lost me at 4 skins......

Or a Skua.
@@nostalgicplastic4323 Indeed they do. Albacore, Firefly too?
(Can't let Special Hobby rule the roost, can we?). 😄
@markfranks1329 I'm kinda liking the Fairey theme, all their stuff was a bit odd, they did things their own way.
@@nostalgicplastic4323 Absolutely. If they could design the utterly gorgeous Fairey Delta 2, they're worthy of being remembered.👍
@@markfranks1329Trumpy do produce both the Albacore and the Firefly! Do keep up 😊
......новое в лучшем.......
Decals need replacing, the red is far too bright. Is it accurate? Your lack of research spoils thie video. Must try harder!
You do a review, then. I'll be all ears with your sagely and worldly wise appraisal. 😂
