Bison is a huge male and I love his fancy hair. 🥰 He makes the Velcro look small and she is not a small dog.
This is a very interesting breed to me. I love the look of them and the amount of breeds that went into them is crazy.
They have a good babysitter. I'd let you watch my pups anyday. 😊

I cannot believe that you have BRTs there. I'm trying to decide between the Cane Corso and the BRT. There are very few English speaking videos about the BRT on RUclips. This is GREAT!!
I have seen BRT videos, look for Christine Robinson's or Midnight Solo Kennel on RUclips. On Facebook my friend has his pups, NightWatch kennel, David Greer. Or you can see my Val on 'Val the Service Dog', before I lost him to cancer.

Ooh I love them. Aside from the cuteness, they waste no time to handle their business, are well trained and walk nicely on the leash. My rambunctious pooch is on a whole 'nother level. But she's getting there...

It actually might be a good idea to introduce without the owners. Dogs have a tendency to be more reactive and or protective with their owners. Alot of times negative behaviors are associated with owners. Often times will be more instinctual when owners are not around
Makes a lot sense, but I’d rather not try it. If something were to jump off I’d feel TERRIBLE. And in end it’s just not a big deal. We have plenty of time for intros since Deb and I are going to open a doggy daycare/spa together at the homestead 🤗

It’s such a blessing to have any friends who will sit your pets and video them, sending them to your Vets or kenneling is so expensive plus they stay caged up for so long, bless you Ericka.🙏🏾 The Pack has raise a meeting in there, and they’re not taking turns speaking either, lol! Their coats are beautiful, like a head of curly, black, shiny hair. And it seems Bison can barely see with his hair pinned up that his hair must completely obstruct his view when its down. Geez!😳 But, they both are beautiful.

I had never seen a Black Russian Terrier before this. That messy mouth! And I thought my pit/mastiff mix was bad! lol Beautiful dogs otherwise though, Velcro is a cutie and Bison would probably be up almost to my rib-cage, he's so tall!

My BRT is almost 3 and I love him soooo much ...he’s almost at 125lbs ... these babes look so cute... I miss when he was that small now on his hind legs he taller than me and I’m 5’4” 👀

Mine just turned 1 and I adore him too. He’s already 55 kilos (120 pounds - he has just a little to go, should be 130 when full grown) and he’s my shadow. Inconvenient at times lol he is such good company with a great personality. He likes being surprised and chased by us, it’s hilarious. His favourite thing in the world. Jumps around like a maniac and wants more. A police car stopped next to us the other day so they could ask me if I was walking a pony or a dog 😂 They loved him.

Lol. You’ll have to be patient. As long as it keeps raining, construction on the kennel keeps getting delayed. Gotta have somewhere to comfortably have all our fur babes. Blame Mother Nature 🤣

After watching him eat I think Bison needs his facial hair tied up like his man bun is lol.
They're so beautiful, but I just can't get past those wet mouths!! Especially after eating. 🤣🤣🤣 But, so beautiful! They say this breed has Rottweiler bloodline in them and that thier not actually from the Terrier group.

So, the dog in the shirt doesn’t obey your sit command, so you use it a second, third…for a total of five times. In btwn the command repetitions, you use the dog’s name twice (enabling the wrong behaviour). When the dog breaks the command again, you use the name again, along with a repeated sound, normally used for recall/get their attention. Then you use the Lord’s name in vain, with frustration in your tone.
I use wait (sit and wait), which ends up being wait and the dog lies down. My commands are a short list: (name) COME. If the dog doesn’t start in 2 seconds, I go and get the dog, bring it strongly and SILENTLY to where the command was given. Then praise. If the dog runs off, you run the other way. You’ll never catch a dog that doesn’t want to be caught.
(No name) LEAVE IT. This keeps the dog from eating something bad (nightmare story for a later time). If he ignores, I throw my noisy water bottle behind him. Works best if the dog doesn’t see you throw it. My dogs still drink out of the noisy bottle.
( no name) OUT. Immediately drop whatever’s in its mouth. If the dog is eating something unknown, I reach in and take whatever is left. There can be no reward. Also, they don’t like the hand in there so much. (No name) NO BITING. For puppy nipping. If the dog has a longer face, hold the object the dog is holding with just enough force your not pulling and the dog should do the same. If command is ignored, put the dogs lip over a tooth and gently squeeze the snout on the lip. Or, squeeze the dog’s cheeks gradually with more pressure. Lastly, for short face dogs. Same command. As soon as the dog nips you, take two fingers and smack the lower jaw into the upper jaw. With the same pressure you’d kill a mosquito. It’s the only time i hit my dogs, yet when done from underneath, it prevents hand shyness. NOTE: this last command should only be used if dog is right in your area. After 3-4 seconds, don’t bother. My dogs need this correction only half a dozen times until they learn. Sorry for the length, I hope you find success.
I cannot think of 1 good reason to obscure a dogs vision . Surely a modification to the grooming standards can be made to improve the dogs quality of life . This is borderline cruelty . Why is this considered acceptable ?
