ASMR Cooking: How to Make Lasagna Without Ground Beef

  • Ingredients:
    1 box of lasagna noodles
    1 bottle of marinara sauce
    2 packs (16 oz each) of shredded mozzarella cheese
    4 cups of ricotta cheese
    3 eggs
    1 pack (6 oz) of shredded parmesan cheese
    Salt and oregano to taste
    Instructions:
    Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
    Cook the lasagna noodles in a large pot of salted boiling water according to the package instructions, until al dente. Drain and set aside.
    In a mixing bowl, combine the ricotta cheese, eggs, 1/4 cup of parmesan cheese, and a pinch of salt and oregano. Stir until well blended.
    In an aluminum baking tray, spread a thin layer of marinara sauce on the bottom. Lay down 4 strips of lasagna noodles to cover the sauce.
    Add another layer of marinara sauce, followed by a layer of the ricotta mixture, and then a layer of shredded mozzarella cheese. Repeat these layers until you reach the top of the tray.
    For the final top layer, sprinkle the remaining parmesan cheese along with extra mozzarella cheese.
    Cover the tray with aluminum foil and bake for 1 hour.
    After 1 hour, remove the foil and switch to broil. Broil for 5 minutes, or until the top is golden and crispy.
    Remove from the oven, let it cool slightly, and serve. Enjoy!
