I always feel like my parents are gonna run a military level search on my devices because I have a habit of lowering my computer's screen so they don't start reading my discord messages. Like, I'll be chatting, they walk in, I lower the screen so they don't snoop.

I just kinda feel like they'll find an issue with anything that I do, so I make sure they don't find anything. Yet, it always backfires. If I keep the computer open, they'll find something I didn't close. If I close it, they'll assume that I was hiding something.

This reminds me. I get grounded a lit from my phone because of my uncontrollable anger, my 'attitude' as my mum calls it. She has NEVER gone through my phone because she 'trusts me' (that's what she says). Last time I got grounded a couple of weeks ago she took my phone like usual. Usually because of my anxiety I have to close my tabs and delete stuff too scared she'll randomly go on my phone and see random stuff. However, this time she took it without warning and said I'd get it back after the weekend. I was nervous all weekend but pushed it deep inside of me. I got it back on the sunday and went on my tabs remembering what apps I had open. I had an extra few tabs open this time like whatsapp (which was on my best friends and messages to me and I've told her all soughts of stuff over messages before in the past like when I suffered with my mental health and stuff and it had been scrolled up quite a bit through these messages with her), my notes where I write all my problems like it's a diary and write about my mental health issues and sh which my mum doesn't know about, etc. A while later I asked her if she'd been on whatsapp on my phone she said yh and made a stupid excuse about the settings on hers and she wanted to see if mine was the same or somein like that. I didn't believe it for 2 seconds and the other day my mum sat me down and said she hopes I'm not doing anything 'stupid like self harm' (which just made me feel terrible for doing something 'stupid' and she completely acted insensitive about it) or anything and if I have any problems I should tell her. At this point I got really anxious and told my bestfriend who said I was probably just overthinking it. I said it was probably true and continued life. Then the other day (the day after my birthday) I got in a massive argument with my mum and she said she was disappointed in me, in which I replied with 'that's how I feel everyday' at this point I got so angry I couldn't help but tell the truth I got so overwhelmed and told her that and that i think I need help with my anger. She said she'll get me the help if I think I need it and at this point I was thinking it was too good to be true so I said I was shocked she was going to do anything about it and she got angry again and said 'fine, I won't do anything to help it'. I got really upset with myself because as usual I ruined it for myself. She hasn't brought it up since 🙄😭
I've even told her once before I think behavioral therapy would be a good idea for my anger and anxiety and she said yes and then completely dropped it to never bring it up again 🙄
