So pretty in blue:) Beautiful and beautifully constructed corset. Love the sparkle fabric!
Enjoyed watching! The draping part I wanted to learn more! Can you show how you cut in on bias thank you
Great idea! I'll add another draping tutorial to the lsit for upcoming videos
Beautiful tutorial. Did you sew the lining at the neckline only before applying the draping?
thank you so much! and the answer is yes. If you take a look at the next video you'll see me hand sewing it down being careful not to pierce through both layers of the fashion fabric and lining. Check out the newest video and let me know what you think!
What happened to the interfacing strips you cut in the first video or two to put onto the boning?
Great question. The interfacing tabs i cut in the first video were originally intended to be ironed on to the tips of each piece of boning before sliding it into the channels. They can also be cut into a curved edge and melted. This is the method i last minute decided to go with instead of the tabs because i stitched the channels slightly tighter and the melted edge made the boning slide into the channels more easily than the tabs. Great eye!
