    Hey TEAM Aquascape question for you (similar to what others have asked) on how the groundwater gets up and out of the below-liner french drain. You're using perforated, corrugated drainage pipe, so how is the water from under the liner getting up the wall and directed away from the pond?

    Watched this half yesterday before it went to private 😂. I guess this is the only video in RUclips that demonstrates installation of ground water drainage. Great job Brian & Chris as always 🙌🏻 Merry Christmas 🎄🤶

    This one was extra educational. The French drain technique for getting water drained was very helpful. Also I had not see you use a centipede and snorkel on a smaller pond but I like the concept. I assume the skimmer will also have a pump in it.

    Hey guys 2 things first of all Merry Christmas Team Aquascape! secondly I noticed the trailer at the 1:44 mark, is that a combo side dump/float trailer? Would love to see an equipment/truck and trailer video? :) I've been thinking about getting a custome side dump/float trailer myself and would love to hear some of the pros and cons associated with a set up like that.

    How did yall get the water to leave the piping above the ground????!

    Why is a waterfall 'always' directed toward the house???........In Feng Shui when you have water flowing toward the house [means] you will always have money flowing toward the home....simple!

    how does the water go up a pipe and discharges up hill?

    • @RodJetton
      @RodJetton 3 года назад

      Good question. I'm assuming water pressure. He mentioned the water in pond would push it up and out. Buy I thought they might dig a trench out

    We came upon a pond where the water table is high and drainage was not put in. What can we do after the fact? Thanks

    @team_aquascape wouldn't it be helpful to use dimple board too?

    Will having this snorkle system still be ok for keeping fish over winter? I'm assuming it will still be fine but I'm thinking the warmer water at the bottom of the pond will now become colder.

    regarding the french drain with it going up out of the pond how does the water get out of the pond going uphill?

    • @bmzaron713
      @bmzaron713 3 года назад +2

      I was sorta wondering that but if you are referring to the underdrain systems (the white pipe in the video) it all has to do with the water in the pond pushing the water along up and out of the pond.. Like he says, the exit of the pipe must be below the water level in the pond.. I really want to try it on a small scale experiment

    • @edwardd8609
      @edwardd8609 2 года назад

      @@bmzaron713 That's my understanding too ... the path of least resistance isn't pushing up a liner with hundreds of gallons of water, it's following the tube up the side. The groundwater's options are: push up the liner, stay in the ground, or go in the tube. It's counter-intuitive because the only thing "pushing" is how much water "wants" to do one of those things.
