SPLATOON 3 GAME DESCRIPTION

Also I heard of a theory that they’re the original applicant 8. To how in OE, agent 8 is applicant 10008? Someone said that maybe Dedf1sh would be applicant 8, and that that they look like a sanitized octoling because the sanitizing wasn’t developed that well back then.
What’s interesting to me is that it looks like their doing a more creepy story. Looks amazing 🤩 probably the closest thing to elie playing a horror game lol.
I hope we get more Deadf1sh tracks for this DLC :)

Not gonna lie, if my roommate wasn't trying to sleep when I watched this trailer, I would have screamed. Acht is DJ Dedf1sh, a partially sanitized Octoling who composed all the test chamber music in Octo Expansion. For years we only had a little bit of information about her such as a single album art, her splatband description, and her Japanese name, Ahato Mizuta. But she still managed to get a small cult following, which I'm a part of. This is her very first in-game appearance. She's so cool, I'm so happy I'll actually be able to interact with her. Gonna take SO many screenshots with her the moment I get the chance.
also i think it's really funny she's the most colorful person in the DLC, considering her past with Octo Expansion

The Octoling named "Acht" is actually Dedf1sh, the Sanitized Octoling that made some of the music for Octo Expansion from Splatoon 2.
There’s a huge theory going around that Commander TarTar is going to return in this DLC. Here’s some of the hints. 7:34 Those Blob things look very similar to TarTar. 5:19 Looks like TarTar’s mouth. On Hammerhead Bridge, you can see the Liberty Statue, aka TarTar’s secret weapon, sunken in the water. It’s all but confirmed that TarTar will return.

SPLATOON ROGUELITE REAAALLLL!!! I was hoping for some Miis, maybe a Tomodachi Life port/Sequel, but hey, Side Order as the opener was sick! Plus, paper mario and even more Mario RPG rep is always nice for those communities. Overall, a small but jam-packed Direct I'd say!
If what people are saying about this being a rogue-like is true, then this may entail ascending the tower being a single play session, where you get different upgrades to your abilities and gear each time, then it all pays off in some sort of final battle at the top. That's the impression I got from the upgrade system and the floor numbers anyway!
it looks like it's going to be a rougelike! you select a difficulty for the floors as you progress and that gives you a Color Chip that will upgrade an aspect of your character, probably til you fill the Palette. kinda like the power ups in Binding of Isaac.
also from the UI, it's implied there'll be different Palettes with different weapon kits (Eight is using Pearl's Palette in the trailer). drawing comparison from Isaac again, like choosing a different character to start a run with in that game
i'm super excited and can't wait for Fresh (or maybe Sizzle) Season 2024!!!!!

@@ElieDGames Sure, I hope I didn't come off as rude. I've just seen a lot of reactions where people don't recognize her and I think she's really underrated, her lore and music is great. I guess it makes sense a lot of people's first time really learning about her would be through this though.

NGL even though Splatoon 2 was the first Splatoon game I've ever played I still played in splatfests in splatty 2, I didn't play the final fest chaos vs. order sadly 😞, though if I did play in the fest I would've probably been fighting for team order

Dedf1sh returning and those dualies. Potentially they could be the Emperry Dualies. We still have a chance to get them in Fresh Season 2024 or something. Agent 8 returning once again is also a given.

This DLC looks STUNNING and BEAUTIFUL! And the fact Nintendo STARTED the direct with it! Dude I was so excited when I saw it that I nearly died lol. There's probably gonna be so many theories on Side Order and I can't wait to actually play it and see other people play it.

i'm hoping they release it for Fresh Season 2024, but the wording of Spring has me thinking it could also be Sizzle Season 2024, since Fresh would start in winter technically, and i don't see them launching it mid-season.
but also it'd be REALLY cool if they release it on February 29th!!! come on Nintendo, it's a leap year and you can do something awesome with it!!!!

So acht is deadf1sh from Octo expansion (music artist) interesting, does that mean all the sanitized octolings were put out of mind control after tar tars death? Just a theory: marina is held hostage by her own thoughts with the help from Glen Fiddler “guy who made copy machine in lobby”
Here’s a note: at 1:46, you can see the Octo soul appear, and then you see agent 8 with more accessories.
People have been theorizing this is going to be a rougelike game, and this would explain why.
(The be more clear, it means that you’ll get more upgrades and progress through the story after you respawn)
